Anyone just miss destiny 1
Destiny was such a good game and I do just miss it and the taken king expansion and trials just made it so much better I wish we could go back

19 RepliesDestiny 1 PVP was a freaking blast. On par with any other FPS I’ve ever played, and I’ve been playing them for decades. Destiny 2 PvP is literally one of the worst multiplayer experiences I’ve ever had. My friends and I all hate it.

4 RepliesSo much so that after completing The Taken King a bunch of times, I deleted a character and started all over again, because I enjoyed it that much. Never played ROI myself but saw the mrs on it, that looked pretty damn good too. Vastly better than the trashfire of D2.

1 ReplyBy the numbers I'd guess Millions miss D1, most have moved on. others like myself hate D2 and what the continue to do to a once great game with a supposebly 10 year plan. They have no plan this games more confused than it ever was. Come September your gonna see what they have dug themselves. Yes many a incomplete looter shooter has been released in the last 2 years . But the one coming isn't gonna be incomplete and will have so much loot and shoot no way do people stay here doing the same boring weeklies for a chance at loot that's just plan boring. I want Space Ninja back, I want the Fun

I was really hoping it would all just be one giant expanding world instead of the two worlds we have now (D1 and D2 and soon D3). And it would force them to keep making [i]new[/i] content instead of selling old content back to us.

Ive been thinking about destiny 1 for the last month and i miss it so much, remembering that i used to run home after school to grind archons forge or play crucible with my friends and it was such a good feeling. and watching all the old destiny videos now like the crota raid and Wrath make me want to go back to when i didnt have a care in the world and i could just play games and have fun. decided to get on d1 with my friend last week but the only thing we felt after playing was sadness, its never going to have that spark it had not that long ago and im going to miss it.

It's the little things that count I do wish we had the D1 community though

Absolutely. I'm actually going to do all the hard raids this weekend since a friend of mine has never done them before. And for those whining about the graphics... I would take 8bit graphics and a great story line over the greatest graphics in the world and a story line my 1 year old nephew could out tell.... any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

1 ReplyD1 had some good features and different people miss different things. I really miss the fun of ranking up, in between DLC's I liked to recreate characters just because of the good story missions and the experiences involved with ranking up. But, people always remember the good things while the bad things fade away - this is a fact of life. The radical changes, constant balancing of things large and small, etc., D1 was chaos compared to D2.

He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

Edited by valfarovhel: 6/4/2019 1:15:58 PMI don't completely miss Destiny 1 as it had a lot of flaws, but the raids for D1 were so much more fun. Lev is fine, but buggy as hell. I gave up on EoW due to bad calls almost every time at the boss fight. "Oh, were going here!" You go where they called, but they went in the opposite direction. Literally ran into that almost every time I did EoWs, so I just stopped doing that one. Spire is probably the worst raid lair they did. The jumping is excessive, the ball throwing doesn't always work due to Bungie's design, and so on. There are too many problems with that one. Last Wish is mostly fine, but super excessive on the mechanics. Haven't tried the new one on Earth because I haven't found any fun in most of the raids, so I pretty much just stopped raiding in Destiny 2. I also miss a lot of my guns from D1. But, Destiny 2 needs a raid much closer to the feel of Kings Fall if they want to do a good raid again. Sure it was buggy as -blam!-, but that was the best raid they ever did. It wasn't too too mechanical, had it's punishing moments, but at least it was fun to do.

Played last night. Didn’t play RoI on my hunter. Finished that up. We’ll continue today. Because -blam!- Opulence. Annual pass in general was a total letdown.
