Yeah the game's just dying out and I'm sad about it. I spent senior year of high school all throughout until now, nearing the end of my 4th year of college, playing Destiny. I don't see the game coming back until D3 hits. And if D3 isn't more than D1 and D2 combined in their best states, then I don't see them bringing back the player base. No one is going to listen to the shitty game journalists that will undoubtedly praise the game for the first month or so, and the preorder numbers are going to be shit compared to previous titles.
Edit: Can't find my post on trending but it's getting plenty of traffic right now. Interesting.

3 RepliesIf you still believe that the Twab serves any other purpose than to smugly talk down to players interested in the game enough to care, you haven't been paying attention. The twab is and has always been useless

1 ReplyWe'll see what happens, I expect. As I've often said, if it ends here, it's been an amazing 4-1/2 years. And I am grateful to Bungie for the experience they have given me. But not grateful enough to buy the season pass, unless (A) Opulence really comes up with some great stuff, (B) they knock the price way down so I can feel like I screwed them, or (C) they restore SBMM to at least one regular Crucible mode.

5 RepliesThe roadmap is dire. They should’ve stuck with what they did in every other expansion pass where all of the content came at once. I used to look forward to the new expansions because of the new areas and story and raids, but now it’s just a ‘well, I hope this one has at least something good’. Season of Opulence has a chance, however I’m not betting anything on it being good. Time and time again we’ve been disappointed with subpar expansions and absolutely awful drip fed content. You know what the worst thing is? They know already what we like. We gave them 3 years of feedback and an additional 1 for Destiny 2. If I were to start fresh on Destiny 1 with no knowledge of the series at all, I’d think that it was made by completely different people who made Destiny 2. Hardly any of the feedback was carried forward. If they aren’t going to put the effort into the sequel then they shouldn’t make a sequel at all.

5 RepliesI absolutely will not pre-order Destiny 3. I learned my lesson on D2. They burned up all the good will and trust they had with the players. As long as they keep doing things how they've been doing them there's no reason to expect anything to be different.

You should have studied during all this time! You would know a bit about financing, stock price, missing returns, missing expectations, and irrational consumer expectations. If you had studied just a little you would know that it is absolutely ridiculous to expect Bungie to do better than D1 and D2 without any star employee, or money, when they failed miserably with both.
