I really wish all you crybabies that call for nerfs would stop, you are effectively ruining this game for me and im sure others. I dont play pvp unless its for a bounty or quest. But when they nerf anything it also gets nerfed for PVE. Get some skill change your stratagy and quit crying. I grind for powerful gear only to see it nerfed and now there messing with supers which is total bs.
Here is a post that sums up what I really think made by Starstriker7 on another post.
Are you a PvP player? Are you tired of pesky weapons shooting you? Are you hoping there is a better way? Well, hope no more!
Or have you experienced the tragedy of being killed by a shotgun? This is a real thing people! NO MORE!
Sniped? No more! ARROWED!!? By Trogdor’s mighty arm, No!
Supered or slain by other space magic abilities? Nope!
Team shot by Lunas, Not Forgottens or Telestos? We. Say. NO!
Shot with a blue primary you don’t know the name of?? GET OUTTA HERE WITH THAT META TRASH!!
With the new “pillowy soft” PvP mode you’ll wonder why you ever endured the harshness of regular PvP. There’s no weapons. No armour. No supers or abilities. No rocks you can trip on! No sharp edges, architects, or places you can fall off a map! NO MEAN LOOKS FROM INTIMIDATING GUARDIANS! THIS IS A SAFE SPACE!! We drop you alone in a padded room. Your opponents will have padded rooms of their own! It is the ultimate in snowflake security! THE FUTURE IS HERE!!
That’s not all though! For a limited time, the first 7000 guardians to purchase the “pillowy soft” PvP DLC will also receive the “It’ll all be okay” exclusive emblem as well as the “I AM special!” exotic ghost shell! Order now, so you don’t miss out on these AMAZING offers!!
1 ReplyNewsflash - Bungie interferes with supers and weapons regularly with or without people crying for nerfs. When they see too many people using one specific super or weapon, they make adjustments to force us out of our comfort zones and try different abilities/weapons. They did this REGULARLY in D1. D2 has not had nearly as much of this mainly because of players having the same sentiment that you posted, but they still occasionally make tweaks to the sandbox.

10 RepliesEdited by EXALTEDoreo: 1/15/2019 5:58:21 PMTo a degree I agree with you, however PvE is a cake walk. Nothing is difficult beyond the first week. If anything whisper needs to take some kindof hit. Why use literally anything else. Also there were way more buffs than nerfs outlined in the super changes.

5 RepliesNova wrap became more useless in PvE after update Thank a lot
-
22 RepliesThe blade barrage nerf doesn’t effect PvE in any way, and nobody used nova warp in PvE in the first place. I don’t see what your problem is here.
-
2 Repliesstop this. bungie doesnt listen to crybaby nerf herders. they look at the numbers, the stats, and the comparisons. thats where they come up with their nerfs. they've been doing this forever, nerf herders came after. they saw bungie nerfing and buffing things and started giving their 2 cents about it.
-
6 RepliesYou can’t tell me nova warp wasn’t -blam!-ing OP when I could go super and unload on it and have it still walk around but it one shot you. You must be high as balls if you think that shit wasn’t broken. Same with BB, every other class can be dropped when activating super but BB users are somehow invulnerable to any damage during the BB pop (unless you’re me of course).

2 RepliesJust because you don’t play crucible doesn’t mean it isn’t part of the game that has a fairly large player base.
-
4 RepliesI am totally with you ont this I am so -blam!-ing sick and tired of nerfs affecting pvp and pve...there is no need to nerf Blade Barrage and Nova warp in pve...nerfing telesto nerf this nerf that all because of your -blam!-ing crucible. I am just about to leave this game forever. I am so pissed off this morning. Can we just balance things separately. Crucible is a -blam!-ing cancer to people who rather pve content. I really cant wrap my mind around how people can conplain about supers when they are used 2 times per match....we often get over 20 kills 90% of wich are not super kills so why nerf them Bungie you -blam!-ing suck to always cave in to the stupid crucible crybabies
-
There’s nothing wrong with nerfing but buffing it 100% more important. Nova Warp getting nerfed and as a Warlock main I’m saying this needed to happen. They probably went overboard but it was in a spot that put every other Warlock subclass to shame (PvP wise anyway) It has the best neutral game with a ridiculous super. They however should’ve buffed all the other subclasses (Especially Stormcaller) quite a lot rather then these tiny buffs they got

Edited by BloodS1ay3r: 1/16/2019 7:13:26 AMAnthem wont have to worry about PvP adjustments.....
-
1 Replywe should just buff everything to where as soon as you get your super it lasts the entire match
-
1 ReplyThere will always be buffs and nerfs in online games. That's how online game balance works.
-
10 RepliesYou're being a crybaby now 😂
-
1 ReplyI want that damn ghost!!!!!!
-
2 RepliesIf you read the patch notes from a few years ago, Bungie doesn’t nerf things according to community feedback. They just look at the stats and can tell which weapons and gear everyone is crutching, then they nerf according to those stats. So in a way, by crutching the most meta op stuff, we get our own shit nerfed.
-
Why you wall of text?
-
OP wants a logical, well constructed response -inhales deeply-
GET -blam!-ED, THESE ARE ONLINE FORUMS
-
Yes. Fight fire with fire and the world eventually goes up in flames.
-
2 RepliesSo, you realize that all supers are gaining length, power, function, or a combo of those except Nova, BB, and Spectrals, right? Like this is vastly a net gain for the community and stands to make a lot more PvE specs viable again. Besides, Nova Warp and Spectral were never top in PvE, but now you stand a chance at infinite Fists, more Dawn blades and Goldie shots, Mobeys quiver actually having a point, and a host of others. You might need to get your stories straight, this change is almost entirely positive for us.
-
11 RepliesBungie I think the only way for you to quit nerfing everything is to create game modes for different play styles . Example TD with no exotics or supers. TD with no exotics, supers, and heavy. I can keep going but I think you would get my point if you read this.
-
6 RepliesDo you want to have an actual conversation about this? Or are you just here to have people agree with you?
-
7 RepliesPeople forget that Bungie have nerfed PvE exotics and weapons. E.G, making fatebringer an exotic, making Gally near useless in RoI.
-
For PvP nerfs and buffs need to happen. You cant have one without the other. However PvE nerfs are pretty stupid (in most instances). Dont understand why people cry for nerfs in PvE. Makes 0 sense.
-
Edited by mxpxboy: 1/15/2019 10:11:07 PMI completely agree. This is why I, ultimately, stopped playing D1. They either nerfed everything into the ground or they removed and reworked whole perks. I thought they learned from their past mistakes and turned a corner with Forsaken, but they seem to have gotten comfortable again and are headed down that same road.

Just so you know, people may bring things to bungled attention, but they don't just need stuff because people say to. They use other metrics to determine when and if it'd needed before just netting something based on whiners. They are actually buffing many more things than netting in this patch.
