Unlocking The Bergusia Forge
Today, at 2PM Pacific Time, the Bergusia Forge will be unlocked for all players who own the Annual Pass.
While coming together as a community to solve puzzles can be fun, setting this puzzle up as a gate between you and new content that you want to play has not been an ideal experience. As such, we will be decoupling the puzzle from the final offering of the Black Armory. All Annual Pass owners will be able to experience the Bergusia Forge when the puzzle is solved or when the deadline expires - whichever happens first.
We realize that many of you have been working hard to solve the puzzle of the Niobe Labs. Whatever the outcome, it will remain open for Annual Pass owners who still want to test their problem solving skills. There is a Ghost and an Emblem to earn as evidence that you completed the challenge.
We love trying new things with Destiny, but we’re also flexible enough to pivot when you point out room for improvement. We’ll continue to monitor the conversation about this event and learn from your feedback as we create future content releases.

Is there any plan to review the decision to do endgame only DLCs now that we’re coming to the end of black forge? Was it successful from a sales standpoint? Did it improve DAUs? If no then is there a plan to try something else like dropping endgame for more midgame content such as new planets, new races, new story, new strikes, new classes, action sack like pvp modes

I actually like the new quest and the new forge, and I’ve gotten the Izanagis Burden on one character, but... Tying 2 exotics to the Shattered Throne? A bit much?

I for one cannot wait for anthem. Haevnt played this game for weeks which saddens me when comparing it to D1, glad i never bought the annual pass. This franchise is in decline.

Niobe Labs is the Fruit Cake of content We like puzzles (Fruit) We like new events (Cake) Puzzles that unlock new events = nasty crap I think the logic is sound here

Or if niobe labs were an unnounced secret not part of the content schedule? Just note the backlash isn’t only based on this forge activity alone, but down to the majority of the player base feeling ignored in favour of elitists and influencers.

First things first... Aside from what I think of the puzzle. My heart really goes out to all the people who invested so much time into trying to solve this. Even though it was frustrating it was also really good to see how dedicated the community is on an event like this. And I feel for the designers and developers who tried something different. This wasn't the best event... Yes this annual pass thing is aimed as an endgame activity but this wasn't a community event for the whole community to actively take part in. We could watch other highly skilled players and think of possible solutions. It would have been so much better if we could actively take part of an event like this. Collecting fragments from all over the galaxy to bring them to the puzzle room which would help the players in the puzzle room get hints or what ever. So that we could be more involved instead of being an audience. And If there was a deadline time this should have been communicated more clear instead of just suddenly opening the forge while others were still giving it their all to make something happen. Anyway, my toughts on an event that could have been better. The initial idea behind it was good I think but should have been more fleshed out into a wider and bigger event for others to participate in as well. Helping other guardians. Not gonna flame you guys, you already got enough of that on the forums.

Im not saying this for me coz ive hoard mine and had a chance to watch a YouTube vid that says hoard atleast 1 rare bounty for such thing like now any chance you guys retuning that rare BA bounty? Like instead of completing a rare 1 that requires RnG put atleast certain amount of bounty that needs to be completed. Also shattered throne is quite silly and it doesnt make sense to the story unless theres a lore behind it who knows 🤷♂️ i could have finished mine today but I choose not to coz my friend didn’t know it (I thought he had 😅😅) thats all gl for those who still hunting a rare BT hope you guys gets blessed by RnG just like getting your 1k’s on your 1st try 😂😂

glad you catered to our cries.... now fix the rest of the issues, or at least admit to them. such as matchmaking.. balancing.. you know, the stuff we have been asking for since... i dunno, last year..? food for thought. i know i for one am tired of the blind eye being turn to major issues.

Love it how bungie locks content behind a RnG wall. Not only did I have to wait over a month to finish the sniper quest, but I can’t finish it because I never got a rare bounty. Even I did I would have turned it in because I didn’t know that I needed it for the quest
