I've been rocking Hammers and Dunemarchers since I unlocked Code of the Devastator. It is my favorite way to do open world and strike PvE. I never get tired of throwing the hammer. Sometimes, I don't even use my guns, just throw hammers the whole time.

A cool thing I noticed is that a killed enemy that is too far to chain will flash for a few seconds and if an enemy gets too close it will then chain. Sorta like a sticky grenade.
