After the first week hype, who is still enjoying it?
Edit: Holy hell, came back to 227 notifications. Interesting to see the varying, but similar, complaints and likes.
2nd Edit: 368 this time, never thought this would get so much attention. Maybe I should just stick to these instead of long lore posts, lol.
Last Edit: 766 likes? That’s almost matches the amount of Edge Transits I’ve gotten. You guys are nuts.

Edited by sanda: 9/23/2018 9:54:12 AM( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Hours of grinding to get an exotic for the one super I didn’t get I got shards of galanor and I got spectral blades and way of the current and I can’t do the raid And after some research on the blade barrage it’s now my fav super out of the three F,uck
-
And terrible rewards in general
-
No. I'm pretty fed up grinding with old gear. I want some of the new exotics I put money up for.
-
Yeah, love it bro.
-
3 Repliesnot me . every time they touch the game to fix or patch something they break the game. prime engrams are no longer buffing your gear they are now lower than the gear you have on. the hunter hate is strong while we get totally nerfed and warlock and titan become totally redicuelously OP.There is so much much more i can go into but i just want to get to the point.

8 Repliesi was enjoying a lot the game. but now i feel like im not rewarded for my efforts, i keep doing all of my milestones and bounties and rewards are....trash. so far i got 10 exotics (and thats a really great ammount in 3 weeks) but only 1 of them was a forsaken drop. the fact that exotics are rare is great, but if i have to deal with low drop rates + the high chances of getting something i already have...it kinda..makes me wanna stop grinding some borring milestones (pvp/petra bounties) and its starting to feel like im having a 2nd job with destiny. i'm not doing my milestones and bounties for fun anymore (at least for most of them) i love the rare exotic drops...but it is really frustrating to see an exotic after hours of grind just to see a knucklehead radar poping... besides that everything is ok with the dlc...but this point in particular is making the experience borring and frustrating at some point.

3 RepliesI love when my powerful gear drops a few levels below my current weapon or armor instead of dropping at a higher power in a lower slot. The system is broken.

I don't like the Milestone checklist for power, and I don't like that infusion costs a goat and a litre of Virgin blood, but other than that, I'm still enjoying it. The strikes are some of the best Destiny has had (still hate the "boss is immune so it can get to a new phase though), the weapons feel a lot more varied than the ones from D2, CoO, or Warmind, and the story is still going on 3 weeks after it released. If Bungie keeps going like this instead of releasing things like Vanilla D2, Destiny should go back to being the top dog for shoot and loots again
-
The single best destiny release. Ever.

1 ReplyIt's good ... but still a end game of dismantling. Although dismantling now has a purpose as in shards and glimmer for spider

42 RepliesThe Foresaken Grind DLC lost interest in the first week. Gambit is probably the lamest addition it's a glorified public event, they really put zero effort into giving us a PVE/PVP concept. With all clan xp being focused on gambit/PVP that's worthless. The exotic drop rate is trash, 1 new exotic from this DLC but hey I got the jade rabbit and fighting lion again, as if once wasn't bad enough. The masterwork core debacle poorly thought through, thought bungie boasted their developers are players too? I feel like I paid $40 just to have a higher light level, I don't feel like there was any quality content added it's all recycled Caydes dead, prison of elders throw back was cool but after taking all characters through over it, D1 weapon reset, Blind Well is EP only now I am forced to play it for the seed of light, PVP is and always will be trash I hate the 5 min race. In my opinion I am being forced to play Destiny the way bungie wants me to play it. I think if PVP and Gambit were so much fun to play then they would have to put the incentives on them to play them. It's just too much shoot for the garbage loot and the cool stuff (new exotics) drop at such a low rate it just blows. Bungie has removed every ounce of enjoyment from the game for me. I am no longer in a clan because I don't score enough weekly points with over 2/3 rds of the bounties being Gambit and PVP. People talk about the health of the game, when I do go into gambit and into iron banner do you really think I give a shit about winning or losing? Think I am more focused on banking 15 motes 10 times or getting hand cannon kills or shit gun kills? This game is now so task orientated it's no fun to just play with friends and have a good time, you have to have a strategy and plan this and this and this and if you are lucky and the RNGJesus smiles on you. Nope I am done I will get suckered back in when my son says "hey dad will you help me" but as for investing any more money or time into this game I am done.

1 ReplyI don't think I can say it's better than Taken King yet. But it is certainly better than year 1 of D2. I hope the community doesn't just settle now that the game has improved. There will always be improvements, but if we don't stay vocal, those improvements won't happen. It's also certainly not for the casual gamers anymore. I can't game as often anymore with school and work taking up so many hours, and I am farther behind than I have ever been level-wise. I want many more mystery quests though. Black Spindle, Outbreak Prime, esque missions. Hidden things we discover over time.

4 RepliesSome of it,random drop good, butthey say they want us to play "Our Way" when the first choice to make is,after Hunter warlock or titan... is which one of "Our ways, codes or attunements will you use.Nobody wants them to design how we set our guardian up.With the new subclass lumps of 4 abilities I now have more things I think would go better somewhere else.Destiny1=arc ,solar &void.Destiny2 should have been Arc ,solar, void ,and ? .

Edited by just a lil fella: 9/23/2018 6:26:41 AMSo far, so good. Really enjoying myself. Destiny has finally become a hobby for me again after months of playing....
Fortnite
Shivers That was a dark time.

Im enjoying everything this expansion has to offer except the fact you need masterwork cores to infuse anything. That was an idiotic decision on bungie's part.
-
1.) Masterwork cores requirement for infusion is my number 1 issue. 2.) The shady nerf to powerful engrams the higher level you get. All powerful engrams should be the same. The rng in the game is already enough to extend the grind to 600 there doesn't need to be a Nerf to power increase you receive from some powerful engrams the higher you get.
-
Meh, it's still D2. About the only reason I play is to level ul to check out the raid and hangout with clanmates.
-
6 RepliesOf course. My only gripes are with the shitty masterwork core system, and exotic drop rates.
-
-
I am but I’m also struggling to find time for it and it’s painful to my heart ):
-
I'm having a great time. The Raid is great too, I'm still stuck on Swolgoroth though.
-
D2 is in a much better place thanks to this dlc .
-
People are still Dossing in Competitive, so I’ll have to disagree.
-
2 RepliesI got 1000 voices today I’m having a great time
-
PvP is still trash, but I guess it's alright

6 RepliesIm giving up on destiny, the economy sucks, the exotics drops for me at least just don’t even exist, iron banner is a hot mess, playing destiny feels like playing a slot machine but somehow players actually like that? Bugs are killing this game for me as well, the chaos reach has yet to be fixed for some reason. Other than this I have no problem with the game, content is great, hidden easter eggs are fun, guns still feel amazing, supers are really fun. If bungie doesn’t fix these small and yet massive problems with economy being the biggest one I will definitely give up, I hate playing games where my time and effort are not rewarded.
