Framerate drops on PS4
I noticed lately that I was getting these occasional drops in framerate that would cause the game to freeze up for half a second while playing.
I managed to find the cause of it. Evidently it only happens whenever an engram of any rarity pops out of an enemy or chest. The issue isn't exactly game-breaking or anything, but it's certainly annoying to have happen when this has never been an issue before.
For reference, I'm playing on a PS4 Pro (without Boost Mode) and using a 1080p tv. This issue has only been affecting me since the Forsaken DLC release.

2 RepliesIt’s getting bad for myself and others in my clan/group. We’re on PS4 and it seems to have gotten worse since last update. Gambit, well are both infamous for it specifically when supers, specifically well of radiance is popped, haven’t heard any new info from twab.

Same issue here, also using ps4 pro. However I have an HDR 4k tv. Doesn't matter if HDR is enabled or not, this issue still occurs.

Noticed to since Forsaken dropped with regular PS4. Fiber to house with CAT5e inside so pretty sure it is the game or the server side. Frame rates are sometimes noticeable but see clipping in other characters and even audio stuttering slightly.

This has gotten much worse since forsaken dropped. All of my fire team has experienced this (all regular ps4)... gambit can become almost unplayable... lot more loading into black screens for extended periods of time... and the menus feel even slower. If i could transfer my account to PC i would... Bungie, please dont forget about us on standard ps4s ( i have the taken king ltd console and don\'t want to sell it and can't afford a pro without selling it)

3 RepliesNever got any framerate drops on my ps4 pro , check ur system or provider ( considering change provider if you dont want that stuff anymore ) its not the ps4
