Redrix's Broadsword Quest Steps
Hey all,
Yesterday, we announced the goal of removing time pressure associated with Glory ranks, and that Pinnacle Crucible rewards will be awarded via quests starting in Season 4.
Redrix’s Claymore will remain exclusive to Season 3. The Redrix’s Broadsword will be available through a pinnacle weapon questline in Season 4 offered by Lord Shaxx. To set expectations, here are the quest steps that must be completed in order to acquire Redrix’s Broadsword:

• In the Crucible. Defeat 200 opponents with Pulse Rifle final blows.
[b]Step 2: [/b]
• Reach Valor Rank “Heroic”
[b]Step 3: [/b]
• In the Crucible. Earn 75 Double Plays.
[b]Step 4: [/b]
• In the Crucible. Defeat 150 opponents with precision final blows from any Pulse Rifle.
[b]Step 5: [/b]
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Arc final blows
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Solar final blows
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Void final blows

• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Quickplay (Rotators count)
• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Competitive
• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Rumble
[b]Step 7:[/b]
• Complete 20 Crucible Bounties
[b]Step 8:[/b]
• Reset your Valor rank 5 times within a single season
[b]Step 9:[/b]
• Visit Lord Shaxx and claim your reward.[/quote]

God rolls are coming back and this gun will probably be outplayed by the new meta whatever it will be. Just simply don't do it and try out for the perfect god roll on activities you enjoy. That's what I'll be doing. This grind for this 1 weapon simply isn't worth it. They only put it in for the no life crucible guys to keep them occupied,so bungie can focus on the good content👍

Hello everyone! Back in D1 I founded a group of about 530 members called The Founders of Destiny. Our mindset was to help new players through endgame content and share our experiences of the game. I am so glad I finished getting Redrixs Claymore last week, now i can just buy it from Shaxx on day 1 and can focus more on playing the actual game without having to waste time in pvp

6 RepliesAs someone who worked my ass off to get the Claymore, I honestly don’t mind this Broadsword issue, and actually find it a little funny. Let’s face it Claymore would of been out classed by so many god rolls guns, it would of been more annoying if there wasn’t Broadsword. Now we can get are god roll “Claymore” and add a mod perk which will at least give it a chance in the new meta. One thing is for sure I will be wearing my claymore emblem as a badge of honour 😂

6 RepliesCan you guys also get rid of the liberal participation trophy going on in PVP? Everyone should not get a medal or credit for a "defeat" simply because they got a shot or two on a guy. The efficiency/ kda/ kad has to go.

If you consider this quest to be too difficult or too long, do know you most definitely would not have gotten the gun from comp as it required wins and much more time than this unless you were winning 90%+ of your games.

Step 9 is the easiest step to complete...and I dont even want to do that step

Step 1 don’t bother we are going to nerf it in a month

The only part of the quest that sounds painful to me(I didn’t say hard) is Rumble, never did enjoy that playlist. Guess I’ll need to put on some music one afternoon and just grind out all 25 matches to get them out of the way.
