For some reason Bungie thought it would be fun to completely ruin titans and all their best traits.

6 RepliesPersonally, I see the bubble as super powerful if you know how to use it in PVP. It’s has much more potential in zone control game types such as Control or Countdown. My only issues are the following. 1. The bubble pops too quickly from teamfire. If it functioned like it did in D1 where conventional weapons such as rockets or snipers couldn’t break it that would be amazing. 2. The overall utility of the bubble in PVE has been ripped away and given to warlocks. The only things titans then had for PVE were melting point and rally barricade. But then come along a little exotic called Lunafaction boots. Now, these were trash but after the update they’re god tier. In raids you want warlocks with these boots. The need for titans has just dropped. If there was some sort of buff to the bubble, either giving Weapons or Blessing that are stronger than the rifts, then it would make Bubble titans much more viable, but until Forsaken, I don’t see any change to it.

If it only had blessing of light so the overshield stayed on as you stepped out of the bubble, I think it would be worth using. And they could add a Titan exotic to grant weapons of light.
-
It was too good so they got rid of it, like a lot of stuff in D2.
-
*places bubble on heavy ammo* Alright, everyone, single file line, please.
-
Ahh, good times. I was a defender main when I played my Titan in PvP. Bubble + weapons of light + high impact sniper = profit.

Infused into the new Dawnblade super. Trust me, I miss it as well.

I do miss it.

Bubble Butt Brigade got popped :/

10 RepliesYou don't need a stronger bubble. You have a mobile blockade of bullshit. Kids like you want a stronger bubble again so you can camp your asses off harder with heavy.
-
1 ReplyI just want my D1 armor of light, war machine force barrier variant, and the Immobius shotgun. Then the bubble will be at least useful in control.

Edited by TheArtist: 7/8/2018 5:37:46 PMArmor of Light is still in the game. Here’s why you can’t make that play in Destiny 2. 1. You heal too slowly to take on 4 players at once with your primary. 2. Because of the power ammo system you’d have run out of shotgun ammo before the first wave of enemies reached you. 3. Also since only one player can get power ammo at a time, there would be no reason for the other team to keep trying to crash your ward. Since they wouldn’t have to face five other people with heavy ammo. So what would have happened is you’d have killed the first two or three people with your shotgun, then someone with power ammo would have come in and cleaned you up.... or they just would have surrounded you and waited you out. Which is why Destiny 2 Crucible May be more “competitive” but isn’t remotely fun.

I never had a problem with bubbles in the Crucible. They either ate a knee or a super. Every time.

Not only that bubble, but wow, look how much super energy you get per kill. Wow. I want that to be a thing again.
