I tried to care about BF4, I probably failed before I picked up the story myself. Then I got burned out by the multiplayer, and eventually uninstalled it to make room for other games. I have no urge to download the game again. Battlefield 1 on the other hand captured me with it’s War Stories and then failed to burn me out once I hit multiplayer. I also really enjoy Operations, despite some overly blatant issues they have. Oh, and my strange love for the Chauchat probably also helps as well.

  • I don't blame you with BF4. That campaign took some effort to get through (as in, I was so bored I had to force myself to keep playing.) I love both the games, I just couldn't quite pin down why BF1 multi-player got old for me as fast as it did. Different strokes and all.

I wish there had been more to the single player campaign.
