Don’t purchase things from eververse

So, we’ve all been dealing with #RemoveEververse and you all should in fact realize that they aren’t going to fully remove it. Ever. Because almost every AAA game has them (-blam!-ing supply drops...) and you know either they HAVE or HAVE NOT been paying attention to our pleads so if anything the most we can do is continue the remove eververse tread. You know they won’t remove it, but they might nerf what it sells. But there is another way, not purchasing shit. Logging on to destiny to tell the noobs and new casual Christmas noobs NOT to purchase into eververse, they might in fact listen to you and we’ll be able to strike them right in the wallet Low eververse income = Low amounts of money Low amounts of money = Them looking into why no ones buying anything Them looking into why no ones buying anything = If they make or break eververse. Seems like a simple plan for you to do. I highly doubt anyone is. The only idiots that do are streamers because they live in mom's basement and don't want to go back to sweeping floors at Burger king so they make pack opening videos

  • Luke DID say D2 was going to be a game about collecting things, but it feels more like a scavenger hunt unless you pay up.

    • Never had to purchase anything to begin with lol. Everyone says she’s the endgame...how? She selling max level loot? Selling exotic weapons and armor? Selling masterworks mods? Selling shards? She’s selling stuff that nobody actually NEEDS yet people are outraged at this...how sway?

Okay, so we want constant amounts of content. Like tons and tons of content. Then while we're not having to pay for this content, you complain about micro-transactions in a shop that has absolutely no push towards being stronger or anything. It's just like Destiny 1s Eververse, it's as the character says, it's there to make Guardians stand out nothing more nothing less. Now if you're actually ignorant enough to do hard comparatives to the styles of the armor from Destiny 1 going into Destiny 2 you're really losing your minds. You all seem to forget that Destiny 1 was built for legacy consoles as well as current generation consoles. They didn't have the tools to create the type of content back then, we caught a glimpse of it with Rise of Iron. Veteran Destiny players complained and complained about Destiny 1 being held back by the constraints of having a game built around the use of legacy consoles, now that we finally have no bars to hold us back you complain because you feel you have to pay to get armor that has no meaning. The Dawning is my favorite example, "oh they used it as a marketing strategy for us to have buy the packages to get the gear." First of, no one likes getting crap for their hustle. This goes back to what I was saying earlier, everyone was complaining about lack of content in Destiny 1, now we're getting content but no one wants to play it. Instead they want to complain over something so trivial as Eververse. Eververse doesn't progress you, actually playing the game does, it's just none of you people that are complaining want to put in the grind. You all want everything handed to you with no work behind it. I really find it funny too that if you keep grinding you get illuminated packages, if you've played long enough by now you should have quite a bit of stuff from Tess, and dismantled a lot of stuff too. During the time the Dawning was active Tess had sold every piece of the armor. You didn't need to spend silver on it, you just needed to have certain amount of Bright Dust to get it. It's not their fault if you're keeping hold of every useless sparrow, ghost, ship, and ship modification. You all who were Destiny 1 players complaining in here about Eververse are most likely the same ones who were complaining in Destiny 1 and ruined that game for everyone else. That's what happened when Bungie listened then, I wouldn't want to listen now. The players tanked this game, players who whine and moan like you all. So before pointing fingers at Bungie, put the keyboard down and go cry to someone who cares.

            • Bungies new update is Shit! Here's what Bungie can stop doing is -blam!-ing with the community who supplies their paychecks! Stop -blam!-ing with us and give us something worth while, instead of the same mass produced cookie cutter reskin shit we've been getting! Quit baiting gamers with Micro-transactions! Don't bite the hand that feeds you! You bunch of greedy SOB'S! We all pay damn good money for AAA not shit gaming! Y'all should burn in hell for your shitty methods you apply just to obtain a buck! Bungie is the king of empty promises especially since Destiny 1! Your lore is weak, gear is redundant, and PVP is boring as hell! I'd take your ass to the supreme court for fraud if I had my way! -blam!- you Bungie and all your corporate agenda! For those who keep feeding this greedy machine, beware! Your turning the gaming industry into a victimizing corporation that feeds on our youth to make credit card purchases without parental consent. Not only do they recycle the same material they implement exclusive material of the same dull exotics from Destiny 1. Destiny 2 should have been a DLC rather than a Standalone game. English

              • That is the only thing that will make them change. Don't get anything form eververse and Bungie will have to find another way to make an income such as getting better tools so they can stop complaining about how hard making content is? Other developers seem to be able to put out actual new content without using reskinned old content and calling it new. As I recall, they had a team working on just their development tools. Did this not actually happen or was are they still trying to improve their tools?

              • That is the simplest solution for eververse, but it seems people have no self control. Instead of admitting and working on that, they wanna blame bungie and the game.

              • I purchased the Game and will do what I want within the game, and if that means buying some stuff from the eververse I will do so. I for one have no issue with it since it was the same in D1

                • All I want from Eververse is the helmet for my Titan and I'll be happy, but it's not for sale, so I'm not going to buy any Silver and just wait. But don't kid yourself. Just because they see a drop in Silver sales, that's not going to make them choose between keeping Eververse or throwing it out completely. It's going to make them change the strategy for how they sell us on Eververse. Whether it's reducing prices, changing what can be bought, putting much more loot into activities to counterbalance how much is in Eververse, etc. The only chance we had to make Eververse go away completely was the first few months they first introduced it in D1. Hell, even if they did decide to remove Eververse now, they still know they can make money with micros, so they'll just throw in micros someplace else in the game.

                • I think stronger tactics are needed. We the Destiny community pay their wages and if it wasn’t for us they would be finished. Not only boycott eververse, have boycott days. Literally pick a day and don’t play across the board. They should give us what we want, if obviously it isn’t to ‘hard’ for them to create 😉

                  • I just realised why we aren’t able to chat in game. It was to stop us from educating the new guardians about the perils of the Eververse store. The backlash would spread a lot wider and quicker because it wouldn’t just be limited to the forums.

                  • And people also dont think about the negatives of removing eververse, Further proving how dumb they are. Removing eververse =bungie needs other ways to make money. Meaning DLC's will cost more......every event needs to be bought....crimson days......dawning...festival of the lost. I'd rather keep our OPTIONAL shop than pay more for all events and DC's

                      • I have not spent a penny on EV since Destiny! Why? Because I just grind out the game for the engrams and enjoy the game. People are taking the #Removeeververse way too serious and it makes me laugh because we all know for a fact that Bungie will never just remove EV from the game. All they have to do is take all of the sparrows and ships and make them end game rewards (secret quests, patrols, etc.) and keep EV for Holiday theme armor.
