Obviously, you are not the [b]only[/b] person who likes the game 2. Microtransactions done right aren't an issue. 2a. See the predatory strategies EA has used for FIFA, BF and BF2. As well as the patents by Activision for practices to manipulate gamers to buy microtransactions. 3. So things like the raid ornaments, that [b]should[/b] be in, oh...the [b]RAID[/b] are in Eververse. Why are items like exotic ghost shells, exotic Sparrows, etc, in the cash shop instead of being in the loot pool for Nightfall, Raid and Trials? 4. There is a massive difference between WOW to expansions and the CoO. Let's look at them; WOW expansions add entire new classes. Cataclysm for a example - [b]3800[/b] new quests, 2 continents revamped entirely, [b]5[/b] new raids, an entire new skill added just to name a few changes. Okay, let's look at COO; 3-5 hour (8 missions) campaign. 2 strikes (which are reused from the campaign), the mini raid. Hmmmmm, seems a bit different between the two... SWTOR, another bad comparison for you. You don't need to pay the subscription fee to play it at all. All the he content up to their latest is available. It is easy to earn credits in-game, criminally easy. With those credits you can get the few QoL needed to put you on par with subscriptions, but not need to be paying the monthly. So, let's look at the numbers; SWTOR is $14.99/mo. But it isn't needed to play and have fun. WOW is $70 for the base game. A comparison could be the Vatican (.44km) vs Russia (6.6 million sq miles) in size of content. You tell me if COO is really comparable in content size vs WOW expansions.

Spot on. I played D1 for a little over a year and put it down. It just didn't work for my lifestyle. It didn't respect my time. D2 is much better about that.

I might have liked this game if it wasnt a sequel to one of my favourite ever games. For me it was always going to be difficult for d2 to match up to d1 but unfortunately bungie messed with the game so much that this game and probably franchise are dead.

I like it. And it's improving. It was bare bones at launch but with every event there's more to go after. Ive hardly touched the crucible as well so theres plenty for me to do there. It's destiny...

I like game, game is fun. You know what annoys me about eververse, it's that I have to deal with rngesus even when I'm willing to pay cash. I don't want to effing gamble, I want the damn thing. Take my $$, give me thing. If I'm grinding it, sure, put it in a loot box. If I'm paying cash money, show me the goods!

I do pay $60 per DLC for one, I'm in Australia. And I want to like the game but I have more grievances than positive feedback. The game is easier to hate on than it is to defend. Were you here when we found out about exp throttling which stopped us from earning the eververse gear? And what about how boring the grind is for sub par weapons and armour with agility which means nothing. Etc etc, blah blah

I love Idea of Destiny. The shooting and visuals are A1. Just hate the management of it.

I’m torn. In many ways I think Destiny 2 is a better game than Destiny 1. Destiny 1 was built around Nightfall’s, Raids and PVP, things that I couldn’t do ( because there was no match making ) or didn’t want to do ( I despise PVP ). Bungie put a lot of time and effort in Destiny 2 into improving the activities that I personally like to do ( the campaign, adventures, lost sectors, Strikes ) and I acknowledge that in Destiny 2 all these activities are better than their Destiny 1 counterparts. However Bungie also removed the [b][i]illusion[/i][/b] of depth from Destiny 2 and that has only served to highlight that there isn’t really much point in logging on to D2 day after day, week after week and month after month. Games like these need something to keep the player base coming back. Destiny 1 had stuff to grind for, Destiny 2 doesn’t and as such it’s lesser game than its predecessor despite its obvious improvements.
