How bad does one want to change it? The option has been there since D1.
[spoiler]Delete said character and start over. Simple solution. But I bet no one wants to actually start the grind from the beginning. Then I guess one didn't want it bad enough.[/spoiler]

Yeah... Not only do you get replay, but it only takes 4 hours, it would be nice though, my characters are slightly different in D2.

I've done it a few times. The worst parts are Nessus and the last couple of story missions. The Titan missions are my favorite since I like the Hive.
