The Taken King was the finest time of Destiny 1, period!
Also I don't see anything game changing in that list that will make D2 worth of being called a sequel to D1, all that stuff should have been in the game since release.

Yeah, no. RoI is the greatest, with HoW a close second. 2 raids, tons of relevant strikes, and a horde mode for HoW vs way fewer relevant strikes, one raid and no relevant horde mode (until later). It wasn’t the worst era of Destiny (That was TDB), but it wasn’t the best either, not even close. RoI fixed almost everything that was wrong with TTK. So it wins in a landslide.

You mean when they dropped the other two raids and poe in favor of a not so great raid and hardly anything else to do? Um, no

Especially from a PvE point of view, Age of Triumph kind of has a stranglehold on best era of D1.

HoW was the best. So many guns, armour and things to do. Plus exotics were amazing then too.

Sorry, but that goes to HoW by a margin. TTK we lost everything, even if the story was 'better'.
