Sign this if you haven't used any shaders because you're afraid to commit them to a piece of gear
Holy shit this blew up. Why are some of you so salty about this lolololol.
I spent $49.99 on bright engrams (dumb i know) and didn't get a SINGLE DROP of my favorite shader, Dawn and Dusk. Also, does anyone else feel like the shaders in D2 are freaking awful for the most part?

I almost forgot I put the raid shader on my flash & thunder nade launcher. I love that thing! I can snipe across map & blast radius is high as you can possibly get

I will not use my Legendary Shaders on gear unless I intend to keep that piece or weapon. I will use Uncommon or Rare though since those drop like candy at a parade. So far I am having fun with changing my Guardian's looks with those.

Yea the frequency of drops for Legendary gear kinda makes it a little monotonous and pointless.... And the exotic armor you get....ya basically will only end up using the one that was basically manufactured for that class. (Ex:Orpheus Rig Night Stalker or The Horn arm piece for the Sentinel aka: Galactic Running Back) lol

I've only used one on an exotic chest piece, and now I will never dismantle it.

3 RepliesDOn't use them at all. Its like a job applying them all, when you do get enough to put on all your gear. The only thing I've shaded so far is a sparrow for my boy.

What?! Why would you be afraid of using them? Once I get at least 5 of a shader, I throw them on.

I've only used a couple shaders. I really don't care about the cosmetic stuff, but it gives me something to do during loading screens. That's the only reason I've used any.

Using a legendary shader "blue something" cuz I had 13. Used 5 on armor 3 more dropped later from a bright engram. Later on I used 3 more, got 2 in a chest on nesso. Almost like the more you use, the more it drops.

If i have 20 shaders of a particular type, which is quite possible, i will use them. However, I've yet to commit any of my rare/ legendary shaders to gear and I won't until I hit max level and have raid gear. I did use all of my Omolon camo shaders, just couldn't resist because it's such a good look. I regret that now.

i used some, especially for the armor since im 99% sure theres no other armor piece in the game i want. but i hold back on the eververse shaders because i always get the wrong weapons and i cant infuse what i actually like so i might as well put a shader when the same gear drops on a higher level or something.

I had to dismantle dozens shaders because I simple had no more room for em and some are plain ugly , and the only thing which limites my usage is glimmer

Ive been using purple shaders mid way into week 1. They are pretty abundant.

I use them all the time. What else are you suppose to do with them? You know you can infuse your favorite gear right? Quit complaining. Its useless. I have so many shaders its not even funny.

I think I've got something like 38 of the same shader.....havent put any one because they're grim.

2 RepliesI have dismantled every single shader I have had so far. Green/ blue shaders give me glimmer and purple ones give bright dust so that's handy.
