The Chaperone's range should be buffed.
I'm getting headshots from 10m and still doesn't kill opposing guardians! Smh

4 RepliesIt's the damage fall off. All I use mostly is chaperone and I cringe at the idea of slug rounds disappearing after a short distance. It's exotic perk could use an adjustment though, it's way too situational and rarely procs.

1 ReplyIt doesn't need a range buff, it just needs its first exotic perk to stack with its self so consecutive kills prolong the ability.

It is possible to 1shot on ranges matador can't handle. Soo I dont see why you want to buff that aspect even futher. Just find some gameplay of the fun police, you ll see that in the right hands, it's (one of) the most dangerous shotgun(s) out there

I honestly don't really agree with you. The Chaperone has already decent base range, and its precision slug has a very generous hitbox. It fires fast enough to get a 2-shot body from a pretty far distance. I should note that the Roadborn perk buffs its fire rate as well. Speaking of the Roadborn, think of Crowd Control on steroids. Maybe you can't beat out that max range Matador, but when The Roadborn procs, it's damn near close to a mini-sniper. The kill range you can get with it is ridiculous. Not to mention the fire rate is buffed (as I noted before) which makes the two-shot body shots that you can get from a ludicrous distance go by quickly. It's actually in a pretty good spot right now. Could use a slight handling buff but otherwise it's not bad.

Its a must be, I hate the weapon but for sure requires a range buff of 350%
