Which year was the best?
Well then I have seen much crying about every weapon and every meta, let's see which one was/is the best according to community, remember to bump after voting so other people can see this too.

Literally every post was nerf this, or "such and such is cut content" or [insert any class or weapon] is op. Or "they lied". It was ridiculous. Crucible was a mess, raids were glitchy and cheesy as fůćk. Loot caves were everywhere, 75% of your legendary engrams decrypted to blue gear. You couldn't buy practically any materials and had to farm for everything all the time. Everyone seemed to think you needed Gjallarhorn to complete every PvE activity and wouldn't let you join if you didn't have it. Raid gear and armor dropped once every blue moon. Trolls ran freely in patrol messing with people and getting in the way. Level 29 may as well have been max level because that's where many people stayed. The list goes on.

5 RepliesYear 1 was a clusterf[i]u[/i]ck & there was literally zero balance. It was the year of the cheese. Majority of exotics were nerfed yr1 because Bungie found out they were overzealous in their creations People are delusional.

Y1 mostly because we had CBMM and the crucible felt fluid instead of laggy. The weapons needed slight balancing to be somewhat equal, I don't agree with what they did to primaries though now they take way too long to kill.😭

I do know that i liked pvp way more when everything worked Why is it that every time there's a poll with sizeable "votes" you see a stark contrast from what's clearly the top choice and what the comments say? It's like.............there's been a screaming minority here the whole time..............idk

2 Replies1.5 House of Wolves' etheric light had it so everything was relevant. We're at the same point now with Year 2 stuff still being infusable, but Year 1 guns were just a lot more fun that Year 2/3's.

Year 3 hand cannon sucks big time. Now Crota and house of wolves, those were the good hand cannon days. Year 3 is great though. Crucible is great with a lot less lag than ever. Minimal server issues where you get baboon monkey weasel elephant lions and tigers and bears oh my errors.

2 RepliesI don't miss the year one meta. I miss everything else. I still remember creating my first character (Titan was my first) and actually enjoying the game. While the story turned off most people, it drew me in closer. I was curious. And my curiosity led me to become engrossed in the lore. I remember the time when I first saw the fallen and was like "oh crap! The covenant!" Then when I found the hive, well....."NO SH#T WE FOUND THE HIVE!!! OH GOD!! AGGGGGHH!!!" The vex just threw me off my gameplay with the whole aim for the chest. And the Cabal entrance was grand. The dark below came, house of wolves came, and eventually i lost steam. I began to listen to the soundtrack than play the game and read the grimoire. Alright enough ranting. Point is, or [b][i]TL:DR[/i][/b], I missed year one for everything it had. Not the meta.
