Lucas grins as he looks at the food on his plate; it strongly reminded him of home, of his family, and dinner with the people he loved.
It was actually rather selfish and rude, how he had left without another word. And just because he was bored, but he didn't feel regretful; he wouldn't have met several really amazing people if he hadn't done it, after all.
Then, when he realized he was just staring at his food in silence, and had been for a while, blushed a little, and whispered a sorry.

"She could have taken it a bit more careful, weapons looked like they could've done a lot from far away.. But then again, I might not be here if she hadn't done that.. Either way, I'm thankful and owe her big time." He started cooking and baking stuff.. Like.. Doing stuff with the flour and the milk.. Basically, he was making the waffle stuff.
