Rumor: New Red Dead was to close Sony's show. Pulled last minute.
Take this with a massive grain of salt. Apparently the new Red Dead was to be Sony's show stopper to end the event. The supposed trailer featured someone shooting up a saloon and due to the Orlando massacre Rockstar and Sony pulled the trailer.
This is all rumor. But it does make sense when you consider how much writing there has been on the wall for a Red Dead announcement and how lousy the end was to Sony's conference. Of all games to show why Gone Days? Don't you think it was a bit weird to have Gone Days featured twice?
Again though it's a rumor floating about.

Makes sense. It's funny because that's the one huge thing I was looking forward to from Sony's show. Now I feel bad for getting mad about its absence.

That shouldn't matter. It's a video game. Not a Muslim shooting up a gay nightclub and police waiting a ridiculous 3 hours why he killed 5 more people.

No. They had an orchestra playing the background music in tandem with that Zombie game. I know, I was watching. You just don't come up with that material on the fly. Don't make excuses for a crap show. Actually the Zombie game looked legit and I am impressed.

I can understand that. Their event did end rather suddenly and weirdly. They would've crushed everyone if they had brought it out regardless though

The only reason I could find for this being [i]slightly[/i] plausible is how weird Sony's show ended. Why show the trailer for Days Gone at the start of the show but finish the show off with gameplay of it? It felt kind of shoehorned in, like they were replacing something that couldn't make the show.

Rockstar rarely makes an appearance at these shows but I really want this rumor to be true. It felt odd that they showed gameplay of Days Gone after seeing the trailer earlier, kinda like filling in the gap of something else.
