I'm a SOLO player and I'm 335. Thanks Bungie for fixing Destiny
I almost play exclusively solo. I'm 35 with family and a kid and a demanding job.
I don't have time to learn to ride and my schedule make social game very hard. My average session of play is less then an hour, and I have no real life friends with a ps4.
So before the April update I quit destiny because I was stuck at 310 light and cut out from most end game content.
Then after the update I come back and...
Thanks to Iron Banner (a couple) I got 325.
Thanks to improved reputation drops I got to 330
Thanks to PoE and CoE i got to 333
Thanks to Sterling Treasures I got my hunter finally looking good (to me obviously, before it was more then one time described like the worst looking hunter in the game.)
Thanks to my new light level I can now solo endgame content like Nightfalls and court of Oryx and I finally made it to 335.
Now I can also enjoy completing missions that was too difficult for me to solo with a low light level.
I just felt to say thanks to Bungie for fixing the experience for casuals like me because I'm now enjoying this game like never before. You got one satisfied customer ready and looking for the next DLC.

And that's coming from a guy that worked 60 hour weeks for the most part of my career, and I never wished for adaptations in games. That just makes them meaningless.

I just waited as well. Listening to people babble over a mic just doesn't cut it for me. I enjoy this game more now being solo and able to solo end game content. CoE gets pretty easy to solo once you learn how to control ads.

Same. I literally have never, ever, done raids, and I was starting to go away from Destiny, but then, after Iron Banner, and Rank-Up packages, I'm almost at 320. I used to be only able to get to 307 or something. I'm starting to ask myself how Destiny would have been with this system. I only have at least 2 other players who actually still play. I feel you, man. :P

Good job, I'm in the same boat really, I stopped in September of last year, and started up again last month. I only play either solo or with my girlfriend who is on the same network in the same house on a separate console. And I'm 335 with 2 characters and 334 with 1. That actually made me feel accomplished. Good for you sir.

Yep, finally happy I'm able to hit 335 without needing the raid only. Currently 332 Iron banner has been my method as well as exotic engram decryptions.

I'ma solo player.......... time on this game is bloomin hard to find..... and I've been here since Beta.. I'm nowhere near 310 yet......probably never will get near 335 (not with my RNG/Craptarch luck) Be easier if ALL the Solo players on here Stated their (continent/timezone/Language spoken) and console/generation..... make the forum work for you with a possible ad for likeminded players to join a fireteam!

I totally agree!!! Finally over 320 and could only play a min amount of IB due to being out of town. But the much steadier progression with faction rank and exotics being over my light level has added a new excitement to the grind I enjoy watching rep go up I don't care if slow, I do all the gun test on 3 characters and 3oC farming is fun again !!! Just knowing even if it's a small amount that I'll get a faction reward of higher level makes opening them so much more fun.

Congrats on making 335! I agree that the quality of life changes with the April update are a welcome change for both solo and team players.

I too am 35, married, 2 kids and demanding job (12 hours work and 3 hours travel each day) so leaves little time to game if I also want to spend time with family or sleep. Due to my limited gaming time my main is sitting at 329 but has been increasing slowly but steadily with my favorite part of destiny (Iron Banner) jumping me up a few on all 3. Prior to the April update I had started to lose interest slighty. Destiny Is my favorite game as it combines many of my favorite genres and also intoduced and converted me to one I previously avoided (FPS) the solo aspects of the game now feel worthwhile even if is is to solo grind patrols or strikes for gear and rep. Im more than happy if I only hit 330 on all 3 before the next dlc drops (Can't wait btw) but I think with a few months to go even I might hit the 335 mark. Good work Bungie a step in a good direction keep it up.

Same here, really enjoying it so much more since april. CoE especially :) love that there's more options for getting max gear.
