Joining many fire teams it seams that there is no more day 1 players around, and it saddens me. Comment your best year one memory, and for year two tell me your best memory thus far.

Oh shit waddup

I'd say somewhere between 1 and 7.5 billion
-
Been here since the beta :)
-
Alpha scrub here
-
My best memory from year 1 was finally defeating the hardest boss in gaming history, Randal the vandal
-
Yup but barely, it's just not the same anymore.😓
-
Played first couple of weeks but had to go out of town for work for about 5 months but caught up real quick. VOG was definitely my fondest memory yr1 ...now however I can't really say much good about the game but I still enjoy playing with my clan mates
-
Played within hour that it launched
-
Right here!
-
Am still kicking
-
I'm a year one and I'm still playing, got a whoooole lot of quests to finish, lol. =vv= I still enjoy it, that will never change for me.

Getting Gjalahorn from a crucible match

Edited by t2hang91: 5/12/2016 1:33:01 AMYear 1, got my vex on my 60ish completion... >.<" Too bad it got nerfed on my 20ish completion...T_T The grind was fken real... And got my crux on my 100ish completion... Again, the grind was fken real.... Year 2, took us 11 hours to complete kings fall raid when released. Such a headache... But satisfying...

1 ReplyBest year one memory--getting Red Death out of a legendary engram on Christmas Eve, 10 minutes before the ddos attack. Legendary's almost never dropped back then, and it was my first exotic that I hadn't gotten from Xur or a raid. Best year two memory is finally getting a goddamn 320 ghost from Crimson Doubles so I could finally hit 320 on two characters. Most satisfying moment has been the implementation of the light based drop system post april update.

Been around since the beta. Best memory was when me and a few buddies beat the main game in two or three days and afterwards got drunk watching beerfest because we couldn't believe that the story lacked so much. Best year two memory has to be when srl was active and me and a few buddies tried driving backwards around the track.
you can't drive all the way around backwards
Edited by xX_BringIt_Xx: 5/12/2016 1:13:34 AMRandal the Vandal, " oh shit I can' t kill him with my gally" Alpha and Beta, still enjoy it.

Best year one memory when suros was op first time
-
Here. Hated it first, because it had no story only grind. After my first round of VoG I began to love the background world and artwork. This great game has been made mediocre by the idiots who think money is everything that counts.

5 RepliesEdited by Seraphim Crypto: 5/11/2016 10:42:44 PMBeta and Day 1 player, still around in Destiny a lot. My best Year 1 memory certainly is beating Atheon, Time's Conflux in week 1 of the Raid, the same with Crota, Son of Oryx and Skolas, Kell of Kells. But beating Atheon still beats it all. My best memory thus far for Year is beating Oryx, The Taken King the first time in the Raid, and Festival of the Lost.
[b]Please note that I am not a Bungie Employee. Sitting at the loot cave was probably the most memorable. Made some good destiny friends just by chilling there
-
Still here, just not as much these days. Been around since beta. Best memory is still first time completing Vog with 5 others who had never beaten it.
-
I remember The loot cave..... Rip
-
Alpha beta ...

Beta here as well. Yeah I've seen a lot people who were around in vanilla days drop out of the game all together for whatever reason. I play more casually now but I'm still around fairly regularly. I'm just not All IN to the game like I was in y1.
