Joining many fire teams it seams that there is no more day 1 players around, and it saddens me. Comment your best year one memory, and for year two tell me your best memory thus far.

Day one still here.

Started when Dark Below dropped on Xbox One, I recently started from scratch on PS4.
-
Alpha /beta and day one. I still love destiny, nowadays I just cherish the friends I have that are like me.

Joined right after dark below

Beta player here. Feels like the game is focusing more on cosmetics and not content. Don't know how much longer I'll be around. Trials with friends is why I'm still here.

Beta player here

Edited by DaChiefMizzy86: 5/12/2016 2:56:49 AMAlpha player here, I've steadily played throughout Y1 and stopped for 3 months this past January. Back again for now, my favorite Y1 memory was grinding for the Gjallarhorn, it never dropped for me, after so many nf's, some raids, etc... I was forced to xurn it.

Ive been playing since the alpha. But all my friends have stopped playing. Its a once a week maybe game for me now.
-
Beta player here but losing interest in the game fast

Ayyee lmao

Pushing Templar off for the first time and being a warlock tossing as many grenades as I could

Beta here. Been slacking lately, what with other games and zero -blam!-ing time and all but still kicking. Feels kinda wierd. Played with a person the other day that started at year two. I was explaining the Ballerhorn and Vex, and pushing Atheon off the map (tho they patched that before I could do that). And farming. Dear god the everloving farming. Combing Mars for stupid relic iron to level up ONE node on some armor. That loot cave where Rahool still whispers. Battling Thorn wielders in Iron Banner. My gaurdians feel old. Still remember the first nightfall and the first exotic I got. P&T. Nothing outstanding but we were flipping out. That was back when you went to orbit when your team croaked. I like the changes and how stuff is now. Still something nostalgic about jumping through shrapnel launchers with "last guardian standing" flashing on the screen, praying that last bullet doesn't connect and send you to orbit. Good times man.

I'm still hanging around for some reason. And completing VoG under leveled and out gunned is still my favorite Destiny memory. My first attempt took 8 hours and we didn't even beat the templar. We come back the next week and get it all done in 5 hours. Loved every funny, painstaking, somewhat confusing moment of it.

Beta :(

Of the 15 or so of my clan that started destiny from day one, about half are still playing from time to time. Now, though, I only see two or three on at a time, as opposed to 8 or 9. That's amazingly good, I think.

2 RepliesDay 1 player here... gettin gjallarhorn on my first ever nightfall. Didn't even realize what it was at the time.

Edited by Vince Pregeta: 5/12/2016 2:45:26 AMI'm still here somehow. My best memories would have to revolve around utilizing the ancient tactic known as "cheesing" to make the old raids a breeze.
Back when the lag and glitches were absolutely unbearable, it was the only option sometimes. I can still see Crota teleporting all over his throne room. *shudder*
Edit: Almost forgot how great it felt to finally get the Crux of Crota after my 39th completion. Necrochasm will always be my favorite gun and it's also the one I truly earned.
