How many day 1 players are still here?
Joining many fire teams it seams that there is no more day 1 players around, and it saddens me. Comment your best year one memory, and for year two tell me your best memory thus far.

Alpha player here, best memory year 1 was when the Gjally dropped, when we defeated Atheon in one go and being one mis jump away from flawless raider (I had trouble with jumping back then, haha, had to be there). Year 2 memory......... hmmm........ hard to say. Nothing has stood out like in year 1, you could make a case for defeating KF Raid in one go, but I just got my longbow back and hope to celebrate getting my zombie back soon as well. I have some fun matches in crucible where we rallied from 4-1 down to win the match 2 times in a row. I would say the biggest difference for me is that year 1's excitment was big moments and year two is a lot a little ones.

Still here, first time completing VOG even on normal, first time the Vex dropped. Sparrow surfing, loot cave 1 and 2, Nightfall flame head.

Alpha player here but must admit since the battlefield one trailer I've been playing alot of battlefield 4 instead. Got all 3 characters to 335 so I deserve abit of time away!

Still here... I pre-ordered mine. But finding it difficult to keep on playing this game. [b][u]Have got much love for this game[/u][/b], but 9 months without any DLC being officially announced and no Light at the end of the Dark tunnel... (see what I did there?) Is leaving me Salty. In Year 1 we had a DLC release every 4/5 months. In Year 2 it's been 9 months and no DLC. The following is release dates of; Destiny The Game: 09-Sept-14 The Dark Below: 09-Dec-14 House of Wolves: 19-May-15 The Taken King: 15-Sept-15 Today: 12-May-16: No DLC announced as of yet. I get that they are trying something new but 9 months without DLC is too much. Been really feeling it last few weeks. Don't feel as dedicated to the game as I once was. It kinda saddens me to be honest: can't find the love I used to feel from Year 1 in Year 2. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. Well, here's hoping. Gunna bust out my raids till I'm 335 (334 currently cross charterers) then take a break. #Feels

Me, still play 4 or 5 nights a week. The only reason I play is I have a good group to play with and I'm in too much of a rut to try another game.

1 ReplyYear 1 was 1000x better then this bullshit. Thorn, last word, vex, felwinters etc days were absolutely the best times in crucible, they may have been unbalanced compared to other weapons and so obviously everybody used them BUT that's what negated the unbalance, the fact that everybody was using that stuff anyway so it didn't even matter and it was fun!

My favourite y1 memory isnt really y1 but yeah. It was in the beta when I dropped 4 guys with a Nova Bomb on First light. It really just kinda made me want to play Destiny and got me into it

Unfortunately. Best time I've ever had while playing Destiny was during the beta and the first week of launch. Went to hell shortly after that.

I can't remember anything about this game. What do they call it...functional desticle with blackouts. Fairly certain I did actually play in yr1 though.

Yes, I got Destiny in November 2014 so I guess I'm kind of a day 1 player. But I stopped playing about a month after HoW and I came back in March.

No more staying up for reset, doing raids and strikes on all characters with my friends. I'll maybe do one or two raid runs every few weeks. The love is definitely gone for this game but I still like to hang out on here with the lads sometimes. Favorite memory of last year was getting my first exotic bounty and not knowing what the hell it was, then hurrying to the internet to look it up. Year two I guess would be when I finally got a 320 helmet from grinding out days of SRL.

Beta here, and yeah I still play but super casually. I dont make real efforts to raid or do nightfalls anymore and if my friends aren't on I find myself logging out pretty quickly. When IB's around I still play as much of that as I can.

Day 1 player on ps4 but moved to xbone for awhile for my friends. However they quit on me so back to ps4 for me. if anyone wouldn't mind helping me catch up on my raiding I'd really appreciate the help.

Year 1: My first completion of VoG, my friend and I had been wanting to do it for weeks, we finally did it... That's when I got my first Vision Of Confluence that I still pull out for fun to this day. Year 2: I found this spot on the cosmodrome that if you speed out into the water on a sparrow to the right spot, you will hover Obote the water then you can move around a pretty big areas by just levitating above the water. Then when you try to get off, you just blow up.

I'm not quite day one. Maybe week 1, definitely month 1... I remember getting SUPER excited when I first had to wait for an update to download. I had no idea there was an update and was eager to see what was new in store for me! Can't wait for the next one!
