What do we want in destiny 2?
The one big thing for me personally as I'm sure it is for others is making sure all emblems , shaders, ships, collectables , etc (especially characters) make it into destiny 2. Have it so everything is transferred over! I would hate to see this not happen and would kill a lot of the game... So much time put in for nothing. Make sure it happens bungie
Edit 1: I appreciate the feedback guys, thank you for your opinion. Some things being MENTIONED a lot are :
- better servers
- stop with the nerfs
- less grind
- better reward for time
- better story line
- more cut scenes
- factions playing more roles
- new planets/enemies
- private matches
- a more organized vault
- not have things die after a year (all raids matter)
- no movement glitches
- 6 man patrol
- better public events
- a tower on every planet
- new classes / subclasses
edit 2 :
- in game clan system
- Gilmore cards in game
- more of cadye-6 like characters in story (on a personal level with guardians)
- faction mission
- match making for more events
- a mode you can be the villain
- 6 man trials without revives (sort of like search and destroy from COD)
- planets that are much more lively
- a tower you have to go on to a planet and travel to.
Keep the opinions coming, a lot of people don't believe bungie will implement my original post into the game. In year 1 I remember hearing that they would transfer characters over, maybe not the gear or guns but characters. I would be heart broken if they didn't let you keep shaders and emblems from destiny 1.

1 ReplyIt's funny that I'm reading this thread and I've been weaseled, babooned, bamboozled, bent over with no lube 5 times in the past 10 minutes. And no I don't have toaster Internet. I like how BETTER SERVERS was numero uno on the list. Also, all you turds saying that you don't want a Destiny 2, why are you reading posts about it? Stop lying to yourself.

2 RepliesEdited by TRINININJA1001: 1/14/2016 12:01:33 AMDestiny is a grind game but the grind isn't what makes destiny a bad grind game, it's the activities which makes it feel like a annoying grind. Remember fallout 4 has a bigger grind than destiny.

1 ReplyOkay the less grind part was stupid bur everything else seems okay with me
-
1 ReplyA more rewarding control, add some sort of random dungeons with higher level enemies that can drop exotics and that patrol exclusive legendaries

1 ReplyI don't think I want destiny 2 anymore...

1 ReplyEdited by Whoknows: 1/15/2016 12:40:07 AMA tower on every planet? Way too much for them to do by fall.

1 ReplyNo light or light levels!or anything like that! a higher level cap that gets harder as you level up, no -blam!-ing light levels and shit. No light whatsoever! Just LEVELING. A level 100 cap, to start, that gets 5% harder to level with each level, and have 150% more content than all the content (relevant and irrelevant) in vanilla to the taken King... To START with (so that reaching that level 100 doesn't feel too Grindy and repetitive, and even if you are eventually replaying stuff you take longer to cycle through and replay everything again and again on the road from 1 to 100.) when we transfer our characters, give us a 100% XP boost until level 40, and a more advanced character creation and let us alter our old characters. And let us pick our colors instead of rely on shaders. And let us keep our emblems. And keep the different ships cosmetic but let us fly them, and let us keep our ships. Then add on to it with Dark Below type DLC that's twice as large (but the same price, or half the price and the same size) that doesn't make earlier stuff useless but adds new stuff to do and strive towards!!!

World events that give out epic rewards. Kinda like how guild wars had it. A certain super boss spawns into an area designed solely for this event and it takes every person in the area (16 or maybe 24) people to take down the boss before it goes nuts and kills everyone inside the event zone. It could even have its own currency system. Players use 25 (motes of light or something like that) and if they win its payout time but if they lose they lose the currency. Also planets likes the hive home world or a new race that maybe built the traveler or something. Honestly that sphere really still means absolutely nothing to most of us. It's like it just stopped existing at all. What's the point of that giant white death star if there is no more story about it? Seems really dumb when you think about it.

I Believe that destiny should just add more maps moons and planets to go to before a destiny two is even close to coming out

5 RepliesIf Destiny 2 has none this, you all would still buy it. Lol.

How the game they promised? Or the one they didn't scrap for an inferior product? I, personally, want destiny 2 to be released as advertised, where they don't lie on a regular basis, ignore feedback, and actually interact with the community. Is that really such a hard thing for Bungie to do? Answer is probably yes but we'll see.

A far superior character creator system, with more options and styles. More mounts and race-specific mounts. A new race. Exclusive to gen 8 (no PS360 version). More weapon types. More melee weapons. As someone already said, segregation on PvE and PvP. 6 player default minimum (already stated, but added for emphasis). Number and difficulty of enemies scaled depending on the # of players (making missions and strikes soloable, but more challenging the more players you add). More of all, I want a game that is future compatible. To be able to add more things without sacrificing others. I want a game that expands on a horizontal level, not a vertical one. A game that can take in new ideas and concepts without needing to remove old ones.

Agreed. I want to feel powerful again. I won't stop playing just because I have everything. I used all my weapons after vog. That's why I played it so I could get those cool weapons to use in nightfalls raids etc. It was great. I used that stuff and moved it around and had fun. Same with crotas raid. Got all the cool gear and used it. Sadly rng never ever gave me the crux which is really sad but I would have used it too. They need to it fun. Let us have everything after a short grind not months and months and finally get the gear you wanted just before the next Dlc when it becomes useless.

I want one thing: vanity slots.

7 RepliesClear and clean separation between pve and pvp. That way when crucibabies cry nerf it does not affect the pve part of the game

Edited by Hoops: 1/13/2016 7:32:30 AMAn easy option for clans would be to have the bungie app available on consoles and also have it able to be pulled up with one button press like battlelog on battlefield. I don't know why this isn't already a thing. Also being able to access every activity on a planet without having to go to orbit e.g. if I'm on the moon patrolling and I want to do a raid I can go to the raid starting area and team up with whoever is around, then it loads the raid. I shouldn't need to go to orbit if I'm already on the same planet. Essentially each patrol doubles as a social space even with npc vendors roaming around. Basically make the game more social with less effort to do so. I also quite like the partner system in Battlefront. I think this would work well in Destiny fireteams, you could use anyones loadout in your fireteam so you can all enjoy end game activities even if you are not at a certain light level or have certain weapons you could borrow somebody elses. Spaceship manual flight and combat. Swimming (a legend should know how to swim) Pick a currency and upgrade system and stick with it. Thats about all I have for now

So another words a whole new well thought out and professionally made game. Lmao good luck with that.

3 RepliesThey should let you purchase items from xur and other vendors with the mobile app. Same thing for picking up/turning in bounties.

2 RepliesEdited by EetnoAni: 1/13/2016 6:04:36 AMDestiny 2 will have all of this... Until July, at which point Bungie will throw it into a wood chopper, individually package the pieces and sell it back to us after urinating on the remains of what they show us this E3.
-
11 RepliesI won't...can't forget the lies and debacle destiny 1 was and still is. I don't want anything from D2. I hope it sits on the shelves and they go bankrupt, forcing them to make a better game.

Open world like Defiance. Missions like that. Even though I'm getting the 2nd one regardless, Defiance-esque open world and missions would be dope. To ride around like patrol and a mission pops up
-
All of this and ship battles bump

Edited by CHILIDAWG343: 1/13/2016 4:13:47 AMMultiple explorable areas on each planet, not just one per Better NPC design, better dialogue, and a MUCH better storyline Nerfs effect only one side of the game at a time (PvE vs PvP) A real refer-a-friend system More "focused" RNG and instanced/shared drops toggle-able More player-to-player communication, as well as a trading system (preferably accessible anywhere) Optional matchmaking No form of Ascension or Infusion Multiple sets of gear from endgame activities, as well as the ability to place gear in "vanity slots"

2 RepliesNot sure what everyone's opinions are but I think we should bring back random drop exotics! "Earning" them in quests is nowhere near as fun as hearing grown men scream when a vex or gally dropped! Quests for legendarys yes, exotics should be earnt at the end of nightfalls and raids, I'd also get rid of the light level system and just have levels again, if your experience has got you to to max level your just looking for amazing exotics like yr1! That's our reason to raid/nightfall!
