Map knowledge is probably most important, get to know the sniping lanes etc. Also pre-aiming at head height helps a lot and means you only need a left or right adjustment. Lastly - just get in there and practice mate, nice roll too

That sniper is crazy good. Lower your sensitivity and stay calm. Don't go for quick scopes just play it safe
-
With the 1000ys anyone can snipe. That's why it's baby's first sniper.
-
Play pve with ur snipe and try putting ur self im hard positions

1 ReplyNever stress out. Always position your crosshairs (however you spell it) the height of where a guardians head is. ShortGaze, LongView SLR10 have high aim assistance. Find a sensitivity that you are most comfortable with. Practice sniping dregs, vandals, that sort of stuff in the head. Hidden Hand, Unflinching, are recommend perks. Never stay and snipe at one spot. Move spots every 20-40 seconds. If you stay in one spot, people will then expect you to stay there, and find a way to kill you. KJHovey on YouTube has sniping guides that are helpful. Hope this helps! :D

1 ReplyAim for the face.
-
Adjust your sensitivity
-
what I did to git gud was played on BF4 because that game took lots of skill to use so yeah also, try playing in patrols abd shooting at human level height enemies to become more comfortable with the placement of the head
-
Strafe with left stick and know center of screen without ads'ing
-
Shotgun
-
Drop your sensitivity to avout 3-4 to you get the hang of it
-
Use a scout and shotgun combo.
-
Shotgun.
-
Get a shotgun....
-
Just go from 5 sensitivity to 10, and try to find that sweet spot.
-
Aim at the head

2 RepliesMaybe you want to try turning your sens down if it's up too much until you get the hang of it, me personally, I play on 7 for everything, I believe that 7 is the perfect sens to play on :)
-
Use your sniper as a primary until you feel comfortable that you are where you want to be.
-
Get gud skrub. No, but in all seriousness just keep using a sniper constantly and you'll get the hang of it.
-
Use Thousand Yard Stare and quickscope constantly.
-
Use black spindle
-
It took me a while to get some what good at sniping, when your res sniping make sure that their torso is fully visible so you can have the best shot at the head

1 ReplySweet roll. Honestly, just practice. Play with a sniper a lot. There really isn't any big secret. I'm not amazing or anything, but I was much worse when I started. Elimination or skirmish are my favorite modes for practice (I prefer small team tactics and combat though), specifically the former for practicing res snipes.

2 RepliesIf your no good then why infuse it? That roll is NASTY AF tho. I wouldn't mind it. One of the best tips I can give (My most used weapon in Trials ((warlock)) is a sniper, I'm pretty good sniping) is try to learn the average height of the enemy in question. If its for crucible find a scope you like (ShortGazeSLR10 recommended) and just use it. Eventually you will naturally learn the height of a guardian without knowing you are learning. Also while learning stick to one sniper, I can be given pretty much any sniper and play well, because I've had alot of experience sniping. If you are learning try to get used to one sniper very well and before you know it you will be capable with other snipers.
