THE CHALLENGE MODE IS ACTIVE
The challenge is following: different ppl doing the aura everytime, you cant screw up the aura(letting the time go to zero so you die. You should probably not screw up the glyph secence.
The rewards are for normal: 310 artifact, 310 heavy or special and fragment and normal warpriest loot. And new emblem
For hard mode: 320 artifact, 320 heavy or special, fragment and hard warpriest loot. Abd new emblem.
If you do hard mode before normal mode you'll get both normal and hard challenge drops.
Wiping is possible if you screw up the aura.

2 RepliesI can also confirm that any Exotic Engrams or Exotic Weapons that drop from Challenge Mode War Priest will only be 310 light. ONLY Items that will be 320 are Raid Weapons and Artifact. I've gotten a 320 Rocket Launcher and 320 Sniper Rifle. I also got a 310 Supercell from Challenge War Priest and my friend got a 310 Last Word from an Exotic Engram that dropped from Challenge War Priest.

Challenge mode would be something like , Hive and Taken now spawn together when warpriest spawns , the aura holder has to be alive the entire duration , Warpriest now spawns random Taken abilities no matter what side you start on . now this right here would be a challenge , the rest is , cry me a river .

You can die with the aura, my group did it and we finished the challenge mode fine

Posted right after we completed challenge. I can confirm we all got 320 artifacts and 4 320 machine guns and 2 320 snipers. We also received the normal raid 310s. What we did that I can remember and this is prior to knowing challenge was up we were surprised by loot. We downed him in two runs did normal hard strategy, started right on first run then went mid second. I had mark first run and another guy had it second. No one died. This is all I know.

3 Replieshonestly i havent touched Destiny since BO3 came out.. but this seems way too easy for me. normal hard mode the WP shouldnt live past the 2nd aura. If you need a 3rd, then you lack DPS, or someone majorly f-ed up. im still trying to decide if i want to log in to knock this out and get basically free 320 loot out of it. i dont think i am done with Destiny, but i havent had the motivation to put the DVD in and fire it up either.

1 ReplyI've did the raid 30 times and only killed Warpriest in 2 goes twice. It all depends on the dps ur team does I'm hitting 23 bullets of 20 each shot.

We beaten the raid at reset and went back on the same character to take the warpriest out but still no fragments nor artifacts. maybe we might had the same aura holder for all the rounds but that is very unlikely since we did the raid twice with the same character. on the first run we had 1 guy die but took him out in 2 rounds and the second run we took him out on 2 runs with no deaths. can't really remember if the same holder or not but will try again tonight if someone can confirm with me

23 RepliesThat video, I couldn't even stomach to watch the entire thing. After I watched that guy switch to black spindle and have 2 rounds and ignore the special ammo on the ramp in front of him, then run over, dump 2 rounds into war priest while out of the aura, then go into menu during the damage phase to use a synth then.... I was stunned. I'm by no means some kind of pro, but goddamn, really? Are there really players like that? Terrible video posted to showcase the challenge.
