Bring all raids up to level 40.
Give those raids relevance again with higher drops. Allow us to do multiple varied raids a week. Love to get a fireteam and fight a level 40 atheon again.

13 RepliesI can see why you and many others would want this. But frankly it's a horrific topic/idea going around. These type games are made so when the next expansion/DLC arrives everything you have worked for is rendered useless quickly this includes old areas from previous expansions/DLCs. It is an MMO business model that won't change, it's been highly successful(profitable) in virtually every other MMO in existence. I'm not here to argue the game type but if you cannot see the basic MMO fundamentals in destiny you might want to take a step back and take an open minded look at it again. I am not saying this is an MMO. I am saying Destiny has the basic fundamentals of an MMO. There is no reason to go back and hash out old content for the sake of something else to do in game (not to mention this is a living world "story" and since oryx is here because we killed his son, doing crota would be stupid cause he's already dead). If you finish this expansion move onto another game until next one comes out. Asking to make old raids relevant is simply telling Bungie it's ok to not sell us a content filled expansion but instead continue to give us bare bone expansions that quickly dry up in a matter of a few weeks along with intentional slow down walls to keep the player base from progressing to quickly because the community is ok going back and redoing all the old content. Note: I used the word story loosely, about as loose as Crotas mom. What a whore.

I like how people say the old raids are irrelevant but don't realize people can just play them for fun and shit. In all this whole game is irrelevant and yet we're playing the -blam!- out of it.

Yup and you can't even bring your light down any more to make them challenging again. Until they fix the game they broke I can't get back into it. I really want to get back into this game but the direction they took just isn't fun anymore. At least on VoG or CE it didn't feel like I was grinding 24/7 and when I did grind for something it was fun or actually worth it.

They won't because they know that everyone will be playing VoG instead of the other 2, which are trash

This was my idea bring them up to level forty with the raid armor dropping at higher levels to match the current game. However weapons could either have a new set or have them drop extremely low so they take alot of infusing.
