On normal it's ok to not have it. On hard if you don't have it there's the door and see your way out

Since you aren't in my clan, don't worry yourself about it. My light isn't high enough for hardmode regardless, because I haven't run normal enough, because raiding is one of my least favorite things to do. And we've established that I'm not dedicated.
