Petition to change KF HM Oryx rewards. What's your worst Oryx HM drop
So I've got a few KF hard mode completions under my belt now, and for the most part in fairly pleased with the new raid. BUT! I do have one big complaint. All the rewards have been great EXCEPT when you beat Oryx. Seriously, I actually just finished the raid a little bit ago for the second time this week and got a 315 ghost shell...to go along with the 317 one I already have. THAT'S IT! Out of all of us, One buddy got ONLY A 311 chest piece (too go along with the 320 on he already has) and another buddy got a ascendant rune (that was it). Come on bungie! What kind of rewards are these for the HARDEST end game content! My worst drop was on my second HM completion. 302 ghost and a rare engram. This needs to change bungie! I don't think I ever received even close to these kinds of pathetic drops on VOG or CE. Naturally there were always some I couldn't use, but these KF end drops are PATHETIC. So, I'm asking u guardians to stand with me and tell bungie these need to change but I'm also curious to see what are your worst KF raid drops.
Edit: Get all your friends in here to take this poll, I'd love to make a statement to bungie that we are [b][u]NOT[/u][/b] ok with this.

Yesterday i killed him for the first time on hard and recieved 2 shards, the normal and hard class item.

Yesterday I got the normal 300 helmet, full auto normal scout, 320 hard boots, 310 hereafter, and 300 normal boots

i'm not entirely sure why people are commenting on drops not from oryx hm - you're guaranteed to get a 310 drop of some sort at oryx hm - you're not guaranteed anything from any other cp's - so slightly confused at people moaning about a 300 drop when there is the worse scenario of just getting shards my hm oryx drops have been mainly shitty however - mainly due to repetition of drops - had the hm boots 7 times in 2 weeks (the first pair that dropped for me were 320 at golg. so didn't really need any after that :P) - 4 times from golg and 3 times as a drop from oryx my drops have been a 318 hand cannon (infused into touch of malice), 316 chest, 311 bond and 3 pairs of boots 311, 314, 312 so not great really - could be slightly worse - but could be a lot better!

My worst HM drop was getting shards, and a pair of 300 boots when my Warlock already had the same 300 boots.. ..yeah, please fix. Someone mentioned getting gear that's one light level higher, I'm okay with that.

Edited by G3N1S1S: 11/2/2015 3:57:25 AMId be happy with the rates if it just dropped the gear at minimum 1 light level more than the one you are currently wearing. At least then you have some sort of progression and reward for raiding each week.

Bump. All gear should drop at a higher light then what u already have equiped. Ie, u have a 314 chest equiped.u get a minimum chest drop at 315-320. That is fair and actually makes the grind worthwhile. Bump the shit out of this post

1 ReplyI just saw this post after writing something up myself. I cannot agree more with this post. I just killed Oryx for the third time and he gave me another chest piece (second time in a row) and it was garbage. No primaries or helmet, just the ghost shell at worse light level and class item at 310. Oryx loot is broken for being the final boss.

1 ReplyI used to get pissed but now (after way too much grinding) all my characters are 310-312 so I can finally enjoy the game/ help others get through the raid. My complaint is that in my experience the raid armor is much harder to come by. I get more weapons than I even want to infuse.

1 Reply311 boots.... I mean come on really. Who thought this was a good idea is a douche. I'm tired of this patty cake b.s. 301-309 and 311-319 b.s. the drops are difficult enough to get as it is. They should drop at 310 on normal and 320 on hard.
