Is No One Gonna Talk About The Fact That Xur Sold an Armor Piece That IS NOT in the Blueprints?
Title.
Xur sold the Skull of Dire Ahamkara. This helmet is not in the blueprints as a Year Two helmet, even after you buy it. It was also NOT confirmed to be moving into Year Two prior to TTK release. I bought it, who else?
Crazy conspiracy theory: what if Xur can sometimes sell a Year One Weapon or Armor Piece at Year Two Defense/Attack values? That would be awesome!
EDIT: In the title, I did say Armory. My mistake. I meant blueprints. Will change to avoid confusion.
Edit 2: We're trending guys. Thanks for the feedback. Apparently everyone is excited about my conspiracy theory. Lol just remember that it's only a theory it is not confirmed.

I think. . . Since everyone has been farming with 3oC, Bungie has run out of new year2 items for Xur to sell so they just took a year1 item & slapped some y2 stats on it and BAM!!! But I like OP's theory better lol

1 ReplyThere was a rumor floating around that all the year 1 pieces not immediately moving over would eventually make their way to year 2. However, I don't think you should get your hopes up. The blueprints could just be glitched.

I suspect this is how Xur is going to Work, from now on. Occasionally selling an upgraded Year 1 item. I'd love access to an upgraded Pocket Infinity, or a Armamentareum.
