Is No One Gonna Talk About The Fact That Xur Sold an Armor Piece That IS NOT in the Blueprints?
Title.
Xur sold the Skull of Dire Ahamkara. This helmet is not in the blueprints as a Year Two helmet, even after you buy it. It was also NOT confirmed to be moving into Year Two prior to TTK release. I bought it, who else?
Crazy conspiracy theory: what if Xur can sometimes sell a Year One Weapon or Armor Piece at Year Two Defense/Attack values? That would be awesome!
EDIT: In the title, I did say Armory. My mistake. I meant blueprints. Will change to avoid confusion.
Edit 2: We're trending guys. Thanks for the feedback. Apparently everyone is excited about my conspiracy theory. Lol just remember that it's only a theory it is not confirmed.

Every exotic armor has a year 2 form. Check the armory. It looks like Xur is going to drip feed us the gear blueprints. Not all weapons are Y2 however.

5 RepliesI liked this helmet for Crucible in year 1. It used to allow me to get my super much faster (it used to have a double Intellect roll for me) and I could survive Golden Gun shots while Nova Bombing (which happened more than you'd think...). I don't know if I can still do that though.

Once a week when Xur comes he'll be slowly introducing a new exotic to keep him relevant. Why is this a good idea? Because the ONLY way you can get these exotics is from Xur. There's no blueprint to buy from and you can't get them out of engrams. Everyone I play with already knows this...

4 RepliesIf you take a gander at the official destiny armory, it shows that most of the exotic armor has received an upgraded version (like my favorite ACD/O Feedback gloves) and some even got their special perk buffed (like khepri's stinger's special perk now also having a DoT effect) I didn't think to check the weapons at all, but take a look yourselves. There were a couple exotic armors that didn't carry over. I don't recall which ones though.
