No Ammo Sword Kills!! NERF
Simplified this post for the simple people ;)
Simple version: Why can't I hack people to death with literally every other weapon in the game when it has 0 ammo ?!

1 ReplyHitting someone with empty sword is actually slower than using your normal melee attack therefore it's no issue still takes 2 hits like a normal melee would just slower

5 RepliesYou do realize basic melee kills in the same amount of hits but with a much faster attack. They are actually having a harder time trying to kill you with the hilt. Also you should really have an easy time killing someone that has a hilt out as they are defenseless. So I don't see your problem

Sword without ammo is literally the same as a non charged melee.

1 ReplyDude a regular melee is a two shot kill. So if they nerf the sword hilt then they have to nerf melee too. The only difference is people have a reason to want to try and sword kill people. It they gave us a popular exotic from melee kills in the crucible you'd be pissed about the warlock melee. Plus the sword hilt makes it harder to hit them because of the short range and the animation has a long pause at the end. Plus why would they nerf something that will be over in the next few weeks? As people get their exotic swords they will stop doing this. Although truth be told getting these hilt kills was hilarious and I was literally lmaoing the whole time with my friends. We just went in rumble and designated a dueling area. Very fun time.

1 ReplyBetter point, why not? It's not like it's advantageous in anyway gameplay wise to try and kill someone with the pummel, it's more embarrassing to BE killed like that. It only hurts two things. The KD of the guy trying. And your pride when he kills you like that.

Hey on a friendly ground here. The sword handle takes two hits to kill a player just like every characters melee. The Point is the sword with heavy ammo is a one hit kill. When you no longer have heavy it can still be counted as a sword kill at the risk of getting close to a shotty player and bashing his head in twice. Just like a normal melee you can still kill them by the time they hit you a second time.

I do understand what your trying to get across, but I joined a whole rumble game where everyone was using the handle, it was stupid plus funny as -blam!-, You have to put in place the mechanics of this game, it takes two melee hits(uncharged) to kill a player, so putting a object in a guardians hand when he melees you is going to hurt much more, PRo TiPs from GALVATRON USE YOUR RADAR (it's what it's there for)

Push ps4 button 2. Turn off ps4 3. Try to stop crying, walk around and relax 4. If still crying ask daddy to give you a lollipop 5. Suck your lollipop like you are giving a bj. And sit in the corner. It just shouldn't count as a sword kill, but a melee kill. That way they can't farm for grimore or a quest.

By that logic, normal melees should be nerfed as well. You can two hit kill using your normal melee. Why should the hilt of a sword be different? That's at least equivalent to smacking somebody with a hammer.

Should I be able to kill someone with a non charged titan punch? Because last I checked hitting someone hurts less then hitting someone with a piece of metal
