So, how many people quickly forgot about their old weapons and gear?
Wow... I literally have 45 new items and I've only done the first 2 missions and I went on patrol for 30 minutes. Every piece is better than any of my other gear. I have yet to see how many perform... and of course Crucible is a whole other situation, but I am overblown with the items. Crazy!

I've replaced everything except bad juju, which I'll be upgrading asap. not crazy about all the perks on the new weapons though

I refuse to give up my Fear Eater helmet I busted ass for that thing and now it's almost garbage compared to all this uncommon stuff anyways

I completely replaced everything I had right when I got to the tower

I used Vex, found verdict and hunger my first couple of missions. They were quickly replaced with TTK blues and greens. Same with armor.

I'm keeping my favorite Titan armor set and my old crucible guns in the vault. I can still play pvp with them if I ever feel a yearning for the old ways.

4 RepliesWell I have the Party Crasher +1 (Got it yesterday) and it has 260 damage with no upgrades on it besides crowd control. But my friend got the Party Crasher +1 a while before TTK and his only does 160 damage with no upgrades at all. Why is this? I mean I'm not complaining or anything. Just wanna know why this happened.

I didn't forget about them, because I pretty much used them a good amount of the story. The game progresses well so you can easily move on from them. It feels just as it did last year just like this weapon is stronger so I'm moving on.

I deleted all the old stuff except gear I use in the crucible. It was just taking up too much space

Oh yeah and I purchased a Voidfang Vestament (how do you spell that?) from Xur and it only has 160 protection and yesterday in crucible I got a rare chest piece dealing 220 protection.

Well I've kept one of all my old raid guns and one of each of my favorite crucible guns. They're not forgotten. Just not as useful now.

I didn't want to dismantle VoC, but I did. Oh well, back to the 20-26 grind haha.

I've still been using Bad Juju for Crucible. I'm aiming for that to be my first new exotic so that I will have moved on completely.
