Anyone else's DL taking forever?
I started to Download a few hours ago which was a steady speed. Said it'd take about 3 hours to DL. I went back a minute ago and the speed has dropped right off.
It's now saying it's going to take 45 hours to DL.
I've checked my connection and ally fine.
Anyone else having troubles?
EDIT - I just rebooted my PS and it seems to have kicked my DL back into life. Saying it's gonna take 5 hours now. Not great but better that 45 hours lol
EDIT2 - if you're on PS and decide to hard reboot make sure you ditch off rest mode because it won't cut the DL connection.
LAST EDIT - if you're on PS pausing and unpausing seems to be the way to go and doing internet tests if your speed drop off.
If you're on Xbox...... Sorry.

3 RepliesI've got a 70mb+ connection that speedtests to just over 50mb tonight. Destiny update has done about 25% in 4.5 hrs on PS4. 7 hrs left. Started it on Xb1 as well and that's hit 10% in 3 hours. Maybe with both consoles downloading they'll max out my bandwidth. This is pretty crap to be honest but I did start Borderlands 😀

Knowing this tid bit of info doesn't help, there's nothing you can do about it that I'm aware of, but psn doesn't use your full connection capability. You'll notice this when you do a psn speed test then do a speed test on PC. I don't know why psn does this, but its pain in the ass.

What i was raged about was thatthe download didnt start automatically in rest mode. 2 hours wasted. Not bungie's fault i know but a pain non the less
