Pick a system and stick with it, please.

First I can upgrade exotics, but not legendaries. Then I can upgade both. Then I can't upgrade legendaries OR exotics... except for some. I have had to re-level every exotic I had. Then I didn't have to re-level them at all. Now I will have to re-level the select few you let me keep. Again. Please don't get me started on the absurd number of currencies I've had to deal with over the course of the last year. I know you're new to this style of game and you've been figuring this out as you go, but it's been frustrating to have the progression systems change so much each time. With the first two expansions I did my best to be prepared, but with HOW I basically stopped after my characters hit 34 because I didn't want to spend hours upon hours of my life chasing things that wouldn't matter when the next expansion system. And frankly, it was a dick move to add a system for upgrading legendaries and then turn around and take all of them away with the next DLC. It would've been better if you'd never introduced etheric light at all. Of course things will change over the course of a game with this sort of lifespan, but not so drastically or so often. Pick a system and stick with it so the players can consistently have a general idea of how Destiny works. Please?

I fully agree with you. It just seemslike Bungie has no idea where they want to go with this game. It would have been fine if they were only improving it...but quite frankly, it just seems that they keep changing things that already work and making one step forward but two steps back. Yes, there are major changes to TTK that will make it better. There are great things coming, interesting guns and it looks like a story is coming. But in the light of recent events it seems that Bungie is introducing more grinding and changing things that work. Why remove material exchange? And make us farm more? Why remove etheric light and ascension system? It was perfectly fine and I would have been happy if there were ascension 2.0 year 2 and if legendaries from year 1 were left behind. But infusion seems like a vastly inferior system, needing to get rid of BETTER gear to upgrade lower. You like that raid weapon you got? Well too bad, you will need to dismantle it if you want to upgrade that forge suros weapon and grind for it again. I´m not crying over not being able to use Gjallarhorn. But I´m enjoing other various exotics as well. Why? Because they offer a unique playstyle and they are FUN. And why should we restrict fun only to year 1 content? It simply makes no sense. Fine nerf Gjally I don´t care, but let me use my exotics in Year 2 content.I like them, they give me a change of pace. I don´t use them because they´re OP.It´s because they give me a fresh change of experience. And exotics are the pinnacle of Destiny, they were always upgradeable even if vog weapons stayed at 300....why change it now? Plus...relevelling again. Sure, I know most of people will say "you are getting a new gun, relevell it"...but really, IF all exotics carried over we wouldn´t have to do this at all and focus on new weapons. Why meddle with old exotics and try to give them some new perks when they could work on new interesting exotics? Makes 0 sense again. It´s simply the fact that every 3-4 months, we have absolutely NO idea what´s going to happen with this game. There are constant changes and for me, that doesn´t justify playing this game. I´ve had a lot of fun but I won´t be playing a game that is getting overhauled every 3 months and I have no idea what to expect. And we´re not talking about good changes like adding something new to the game or keeping it fresh. These are changes that are overhauling the game every time and right now, instead of only adding new things we are being vastly restricted in what we are doing. Sure, we´re getting story, vault space, new balance in multiplayer etc....but I highly suspect that the story we are getting can in no way be compared to fallout or witcher or other games...vault space means nothing if guns are getting obsolete and pvp will still be unbalanced, just in other way. It pains me to say it because there are things about Destiny that I love very much, but there simply aren´t enough reasons for me to keep playing
