Buying the Taken King? Read this....
The Taken King should be changed to The King of Taken your Money.
The DLC is overpriced at $40.
It is not worth $40...Activi$ion....as we ALL well know...is disgusting when it comes to scamming people.
Destiny is on its last leg with milking beyond belief since both Bungie and Activi$ion know that all the good games are coming out soon (SW Battlefront, Uncharted 4, Deus Ex, Doom, Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, Need for Speed 2015, etc.)

4 RepliesWaaaaaaaaaayyyy too much thought goes into judging this game. It is a scifi shooter good for sitting back and not thinking for a few hours. Sure, the story is trash. Who cares? My friends and I stopped caring about story, grimoire, or progression months ago! Everyone looks the same, and heck, your race doesn't even matter...that should have told us how "deep" the game is. But Destiny also provides a pretty damn stable and visually attractive engine to jump and shoot boogers with cool guns. Some mindlesa scifi fun. This company should dump story, script, etc and just put all effort into weapon variety and graphics. Build on the strength and dump the stuff that will never be up to par. You will never have a story to become invested in, like Mass Effect or Gears or what have you. Who cares? Shoot things and have fun with your buds!

4 RepliesYou haven't listened to any of their new info have you? It sounds like a huge and good overhaul of the game. It adds a new raid, 4 strikes, 15 story mission, 18 armor exotics, 12 exotic weapons, etc. it sounds great

I don't have a problem with the price and for less than a night out I will have hours of hangover free fun for a while! Don't go out one or two nights and you have your purchase! Most of you people who post this garbage know you will be allowing Bungie to take your money as soon as the 15th comes! Go away!

Technically, The taken King is attempting to reset Destiny. Think about it. A massive DLC, (It's seems pretty big to me) A massive patch, A new voice actor for the ghost, Many changes to the original game, and probably more. All on the beginning of year two. Maybe it's when Destiny gets good.
