Can we all stop this Hunters are useless?
I've taken away the original content of this post but pretty much the overall topic it was about was how people were calling hunters useless and that they're the worst class in the game and it was me upset and now I could care less because they aren't so the new topic is what your favorite thing about TTK is so far?

2 RepliesYeah people say hunters useless but i can do a lot more with a hunter then a warlock or titan in pve i would like to see one thing people can do on titan or warlock (other then supers) that a hunter cant

3 RepliesHunters are useless in raids and POE fact. But maybe just maybe with there new sub-class they will be of use when they get it on Sept 15. Till then it's all Titan and Walock for end game. No hard feelings mate!!!

2 RepliesYeah. Ive met a few anti-hunter guys in game. Not as much as here. But ive seen a few. And not one of them has left with the same mindset when they see me take half atheons hp single handedly and continue to deal reasonable damage while the others fetch another sheild. This is not to mention when we have a slight of hand for class switing. Popping off a nighthawk golden gun to kill a major, throwing a mine at the comming attack force, then switching immediatly to blade dancer to stealth past them all and revive bob who died from the major. As he walks back a stealth vandel trys to lightswitch him when suddenly "beep... Ka-Thoom!" trip mine. You blade dance the rest of the force down... Oh no! Only one orb... Nope... There are four more from the night hawk in the beginning. Bob now has a sheild ready. Switch back to golden gun and get your knives back through the monte carlo. That will hold you till your grenade is ready which will hold you until your super is ready... Repeat...

Somewhat agree as far as hunters having no super that's actually able to help or deal any type of damage in pve. That being said nighthawk has fixed a lot of that. Bladedancer has a pretty useless super in pve but it's the perks that make the class valuable. Not to mention Bladedancer god mode in pvp. A lot of people I know hate the hunter cause they die super easy with it, compared to using warlock and such. Hunters just take more skill to use, they don't have as many exploits as other classes but in the end are master race.

1 ReplyI love being a hunter Invisibility is a helpful key in POE also they are highly efficient in the Crota raid as well as many other instances. I wouldn't change my class . The future will only get better for them with the void subclass. Not to mention they look awesome with the cloaks and armor.

Edited by ChuckN4tion: 7/3/2015 8:14:53 PMWe can still solo nearly every pve event except for atheon and skolas. I don't need a titan or Warlock to aid me in anything. 3-6 hunters in a group can still complete a PoE and raid events in the same time and efficiency as a mixed team aswell.

3 RepliesYeah I hate being useless and getting 10 plus medic medals in a strike or raid. Useless.. Lol, all we are good for is stealth revival? Glad you didn't have to go to orbit or start a check point over because you keep dying and a hunter had to rez you because you tried to shotgun a boss up close. Each class is very beneficial to the team. It matters or not if the Guardian uses his supers/class abilities to benefit the team or for themselves.

4 RepliesI have no idea why people say hunters are useless. Who's the one that originally solo'd the lamps and then half of the rest of crotas end? Hunters. Who make 8 orbs if they have acliophage symbiote and up to 6 or 7 without?(all from a safe distance) Hunters. Who get tasked with dismantling mines while the other classes hide in a cubby? Hunters. All the classes have their strengths. Self res is undoubtedly useful, but you have to DIE to make use of it. Titan bubbles are amazing, but you're rooted to one spot. The hunters supers allow you to roam, as well as abilities ranging from invisibility, a lesser version of the titan smash on the bladedancer, to cross area snipes with the golden gun that put orbs in the lap of your teammates. Also, warlocks and titans only really have one viable subclass for end game content, while hunters can make use of gunslinger OR bladedancers depending on what you want.

1 ReplyAll classes have their ups and downs whether it's a Titan dropping weapons to burn a boss, a warlock using self rez at the end of the bossfight to save the day, or hunters going invis to clear mines and much more for each of the classes.

If you know how to use invisibility you are more useful than a warlock but Titans in pve might be the most useful just due to the buffs but that will change with the introduction of the bow

I mean let's face it..... Our supers do nothing to bosses..... So everyone relies on their support class to get through end game content.... Well.... Hunters don't really have A support class yet... Invisibility is extremely useful... But trying to blade dance majors will end in you getting rekd
