So are you bias towards gender? Squeakers?
Say, if a female were to join you, would you think less of her to the other players? Would you allow her to run sword or relic or is she bad because she's a girl, or what about sqeakers, would you kick someone just for their age? If there's an all female group out there, do you think less of men when they play?
It's not like you can look at my stats, or anyone elses, and say if we're male or female. If none of us had mics nobody would know who anybody was,
[spoiler]My point for this is to show that if none of us had mics we wouldn't know the gender or age of our opponents, there'd be no straight forward judging, that could be good.[/spoiler]

People who make these sorts of posts need to think for a second and ask if they've ever done it themselves. Kicking a squeaker is not something that should always happen, he MAY be a squeaker, but you can mute him if he gets too loud and if there's a girl on the team... WHO CARES... Just because they're a girl doesn't mean they immediately suck. I'm sorry, but if you made this post because you're a girl/squeaker and think this way, stop! You're just joining THE WRONG FIRETEAM. Start making friends who back you up when you're talked down to, once those friends create a good bond with you, just wait for your friend to step in whenever doubted against. I do that for my friend Kristina and she is a great player. She got doubted by some asshóle who was very ignorant and thought he was the best because he had Gjallarhorn, but i had gjallarhorn too and in my opinion he was terrible at aiming, then he kicked her, i told him off, made a VOG hard game, he joined, i told him he sucked and then i kicked him. Not all men are idiots who go ahead and kick girls because they're 'too girly' or squeakers because they're 'too young'. I'm fine with playing with either as long as you don't scream into your mic like Adam Levine hitting a high note.

I think it's kind of unrealistic to generalize that everyone is biased against either girls or squeakers. Most people I know don't care for the most part. The one thing about squeakers is that they can be annoying because of age and immaturity. Generally though I don't feel like this is a big issue

My best games of ToO and Iron Banner were with squeakers. Not really fair though, they're all cracked out and superfocused from the add meds.

Hm. This is a good philosophical counter-argument to bias. Never been biased against women playing (more than anything sad there aren't more). Squeakers are a different story. Started off unbiased, got sucked into an awful group and became biased. Ditched that group, thought about it, played with different squeakers, and decided that was probably just a bad bunch. bias = erased. and it's for the best

I prefer playing with people my own age, so no squeakers (being 23 I realize that some kids are going to sound older but they will still act like squeakers, or randomly yell at their moms to do something for them). Don't care about gender.

I would play with a woman, I really don't mind. I have played/raided with girls and it is really no different. As far as running relic goes, I wouldn't let any random run relic. I prefer to have one of my buddies do it because I know they will do well with it.

As long as they aren't squeakers who use the Kinect to talk. That's just too much noise. I've actually made a few friends who are squeaky. As for gender, it should never matter. Heck I wouldn't even boot someone if they were terrible. Instead I would work with the team trying to figure out how to get around it. If things still go terribly, I will leave and do something else.

Doesn't matter how old someone is or if they're male or female.. As long as you're good, can communicate well, and play the game smartly, I'll play with you. Age or gender shouldn't have anything to do with letting someone play with you. Those who think it's even the least bit important are just being thick headed.
