So are you bias towards gender? Squeakers?
Say, if a female were to join you, would you think less of her to the other players? Would you allow her to run sword or relic or is she bad because she's a girl, or what about sqeakers, would you kick someone just for their age? If there's an all female group out there, do you think less of men when they play?
It's not like you can look at my stats, or anyone elses, and say if we're male or female. If none of us had mics nobody would know who anybody was,
[spoiler]My point for this is to show that if none of us had mics we wouldn't know the gender or age of our opponents, there'd be no straight forward judging, that could be good.[/spoiler]

I for one try my best to give my utmost respect on all individuals I come across with regardless their gender and real life or online but with squeakers on the other hand through my experience I developed a threshold if they annoy me or do not contribute as much as the rest in the fireteam after numerous explanations and tries, sorry but I will no longer stand to play with someone like that no longer.

Squeakers on the other hand are a little more annoying just because of their high pitched voices and my ears can't take it, so sometimes i just gotta turn off my mic

3 RepliesIf a female were to join I wouldn't expect them to do any worse. If a squeaker were to join... I would expect them to be bad and/or really annoying. When they are neither it is really pleasant.

I have no bias towards female gamers (wife is a gamer). Squeekers it is on a player to player basis. If they are not annoying and not going full retard I dont mind having them along. On the female gamer issue it comes down to immaturity if someone cannot handle the opposite gender in a fire team. Grow up.

I'm more than happy to let squeakers play but it's annoying when I'm trying to make a trials team and they join then ask what boons are. I still take them but prefer when they say it's their first time so I can expect it.

I just can't stand people who won't shut the -blam!- up. Some people are literally talking the entire time. Usually not about the current fight or even the game at all. I'm cool with talking and having a good time, but when your talking is interfering with communication, you need to stop.

I prefer not to play with "squeakers" male or female due to me not relating to them, and it ussually effects communication. I also don't like to play with females under like 21 because I just feel creepy as hell. I wouldn't boot them because I ussually am not the leader, but I have left if we couldn't get on the same page. I always tell them that I'm leaving, I don't drop on the flight into ToO or anything.

I won't judge unless: 1. You scream for cleanse every second (it still plays in my head) 2. You say something that hurts my brain (due to lack of intelligence, this has only happened once) 3. You go around talking bad about other fireteam members and/or me. Keep the negative comments to yourself.

I couldn't care less about gender. Now age, that's a different story. If I have a headache and I want to do a raid. I ask for no squeakers and I mention my headache in the post so I don't sound like a jerk. Otherwise, I don't care.

Well thankfully I'm in an adult clan and from an adult gaming site, and we have many members from all over the world different ages and back grounds, and different genders. We don't see male or female we see gamers.

In general: No, gender doesn't matter. Yes, kids are annoying. However, it goes alot by who the person is, I'm sure I have played with alot of female players and never knew it, otherwise for sure I would have proposed to them and married them all, cause well its the Internet and I am the best man for them. If they are good players and not annoying I will play with them. Children however, if I know they are children I will not join the fireteam, I'm sure I have fought along side them and not known it if they didn't have a mic, that's fine, but I am not going to knowingly have children in my group. I would rather play with same age group.
