Neither is destiny. Pay to play entitles a monthly subscription.

You don't have to buy the dlc though.

Edited by Shiver: 3/19/2015 12:26:30 AMTo play it you do, which is part of the game, if you don't buy the DLC you will be out dated and eventually can't do any of the nightfalls because then you will be under leveled. As it stands you can't do 1 nightfall and weekly without paying for it.

False, you may be able to buy currency but you can't get the majority of weapons or max rank by paying making it not pay to win but pay to help.

Likewise, the same is in destiny. You pay for the strikes a maps, and the chance for weapons

Not really, Warframe you can be all powerful without paying a penny, Destiny you are required to buy the DLC in order to be maxed out. If you don't buy the DLC you cannot be any lvl higher than 30
