The missing music is all so close to other music if not in some cases a complete rip off. It is for that reason I assume they are unable to sell it, as it would be labeled infringement.

Not generic, they literally sound like they ripped off other songs. Entirely ripped off.

Examples? The only one that I can think of is Nemesis which sounds like Icarus from Deus Ex- and even that's a bit of a stretch.
