Why the F@#K do people join ROC strike playlist.....
.....THEN JUST STAND IN -blam!-ING PLACE AFK? Seriously what is this bullshit? No one wants to carry your sorry ass. Just playedc 5 ROC strikes and of those 5 there was someone standing AFK in 3 of them on spawn for the entire goddamn run. I can understand a few mins if you need to get a drink or the phone rang but not the entire -blam!-ing strike.
Is this what lazy pieces of shit do to try and farm Vanguard marks?
If you're gonna be gone more than 5 goddamn minutes GO THE -blam!- BACK TO ORBIT!!! Seriously it takes 3 seconds to go back to orbit. No one wants you standing at the spawn AFK for the entire run and just make things slower for the other 2 that want to run it. /rant

I'll usually give people a little time but if we're pushing 4-5 minutes ill start doing things to get their attention. Punching pushing off ledges sparrow kills etc

Funny thing is they will stand afk the whole strike, get 0 kills and get ledgendary engrams...

Honestly I just ignore them, I can and have done most strikes on my own. I play for the possibility of a reward but that hasn't happened to me ever, unless you coins blue engrams that become coins, motes and rare items that I break down.

15 RepliesShout out to the two ppl I ran with last nite. I went afk because like most ppl, I have children..... *let that soak in for a minute*....I had a diaper I needed to change & a bottle I needed to make. When I came back they were 3/4 the way to the psion flares. Anybody who plays on the 4 knows that's the worst mission ever. Lol. But we finished & ran another 1 together. Not everybody who goes afk is cheesing vanguard marks. Sometimes ppl have actual real world issues.

4 RepliesWhen people go afk I tend to die in a no re-spawn zone in order to prevent them from getting their bounties if that is their goal or I take my sweet time to make the mission take longer. I try and be civil towards other gamers but sometimes it is fun to troll a little.

2 RepliesI can solo them, and having the other people in and go AFK makes the enemies harder.... so it's more of a challenge and funner for me. Sometimes, I launch up a strike and become sad when it pairs me with others, because I like to run it alone. So uh.... git gud scrub, as they say.

I push them into a wall with sparrow and kill them with a well placed ram. On the Omnigul strike I push them off the cliff for being lazy a holes

I did afk on a boss fight...cuz of RL things poping up. I did leave the strike before they finished it. (I felt bad for letting my team down.) I guess I will have to try again another day. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
