Why the F@#K do people join ROC strike playlist.....
.....THEN JUST STAND IN -blam!-ING PLACE AFK? Seriously what is this bullshit? No one wants to carry your sorry ass. Just playedc 5 ROC strikes and of those 5 there was someone standing AFK in 3 of them on spawn for the entire goddamn run. I can understand a few mins if you need to get a drink or the phone rang but not the entire -blam!-ing strike.
Is this what lazy pieces of shit do to try and farm Vanguard marks?
If you're gonna be gone more than 5 goddamn minutes GO THE -blam!- BACK TO ORBIT!!! Seriously it takes 3 seconds to go back to orbit. No one wants you standing at the spawn AFK for the entire run and just make things slower for the other 2 that want to run it. /rant

1 ReplyWell being a father I usually get on at night. Sometimes my 8 month old daughter wakes up and I need to go take care of her real quick. I'm back on within a few minutes. What really irritates me is when people run through areas when I am glimmer farming and leave me by myself.

I've begun just leaving those strikes and starting a new one. Apparently people that play the game enough to learn unintended cheeses are more of a priority than people who 'play' the game AFK.

This is why you don't strike with randoms I get that u may not always have friends who are online or even play destiny. But still this is something that the majority of players have to deal with it sucks but it is what it is. If im in that situation depending on my mood Il either kill everything(more glimmer for me) or jus orbit and find a new lobby i understand ur feelings but no need to get upset friend you never kno the true reason why someone afks

1 ReplyI should probably start trying to use the fireteam chat every so often. Usually there are 2 of us (sometimes 3) who run the strikes together all the time. We tend to kill everything, as I'm not in a hurry to get to the next strike I've done 1000 times before. Then we get either the AFK guy, or the one who is in a huge hurry to get to the boss. I would assume both sides get mad about the different play styles. They probably see it as us slowing them down, we see it as them skipping our entire strike...

If you were worth anything you could just solo the strikes. Who cares about afk'ers??!!!??! Just run it with who's left or solo.

3 RepliesLast time I had a guy go afk, me and the other player didn't realize he was afk til we killed phogoth. Reward screen came up, I got hardlight, other guy got Suros, and the afk didn't get jack sh*t!

Just purposely wipe if you're a certain distance ahead. You may not get better rewards, but hey, neither will they. I think.

Though I agree with you, that shit is annoying as hell...I almost would rather run ROC solo anyway. I wish there was an option to turn off matchmaking.

Just wait until you have another AFK & they receive whichever exotic you have been wanting... Unfortunately, it is likely to happen.

We had a 32 Titan last night play harder than I've ever seen anybody play up until he hit the Nexus. Then said Titan decided to hide as soon as we got to the Nexus. My partner was in the back dancing with him/her and it was obvious that this person wasn't away from their controller. They would move now and then. I just don't get why they didn't just help out and get it done faster opposed to hiding.

My friend did this not a rant cause I carry him everyone anyway but he disappears, me n sum random reach pogoth, my friend comes flying in on his tumbler and we finish the strike, my friend has 9 kills me n the other guy like 150 plus each, my 9 kill friend gets hard light at the end!!! Wtf lol Peace

Simple fix. Don't give reward unless you get a number of kills
