My guess is that 'Kaliks Prime' is going to be the House of Wolves Raid boss.
Kaliks Prime is the former prime Servitor of the House of Wolves in The Reef. After the Queen of the Reef murdered the house's Kell, Kaliks went into hiding and the Awoken are currently hunting him.

5 RepliesGiant Minotaur Giant Knight Now for HOW it'll be a Giant Captain It's likely that the core concepts of these Raids were completed well before launch so you can expect that pattern to emerge

Edited by The Titan Bros: 2/6/2015 2:34:52 PMWell, we already know the new boss won't be a new type of enemy. It will be a re-skinned, larger version of a current Fallen nemesis. Another of those giant ass Fallen that slowly walk around and do nothing would be boring, so I'm thinking a giant purple shank that fires cannon shots like their ships do would be a challenge. Actually, the boss will probably be a giant space tank sent to destroy something and you have to stop it. Spoiler alert! The Queen requests an audience.

Or this: a ketch in a massive open cosmodrome area, Take down drop ship enemies to build up a rail cannon (like the ones you see in the multiplayer map) and once after 10 minutes of non stop battles you take down the ketch. Next step go to the area of it being downed and see a massive devil walker emerge, with different weapons and lots of movement, where the neck can only be harmed by supers or damage types, Then upon explosion of the devil walker an archon/master of kells like captain flees into an arena area where keliks prime is, stun the servitor to stop the sheild on the kell, then once a few rounds of that until he is dead, the servitor absorbs his soul becoming the big bad boss of the raid, occasionally splitting himself into smaller ones, creating clones of himself or summoning soulless enemies that can only be killed(re killed ) with random damage types, only when he is summoning them can he be stunned/damaged, or even by activating Rasputin terminals to disrupt his sheild

6 RepliesIt's definitely gonna be a Captain for the boss. Look at the art.
-
8 RepliesIt's a reverse raid. You must defend the tower from the Fallen. Turns out they DID mind that you Took their pikes.

Edited by CaptKrunch: 2/5/2015 4:54:51 AMI was hoping for a duel fight with a Kell and Servitor. Disrupt the Servitor somehow to kill the Kell then finish off the Servitor who gets more powerful once the Kell is defeated. Kind of Ornstein and Smough inspired if any of you have played Dark Souls. Similar to Crota but more engaging then dropping his shields and hitting him.

2 RepliesOptimus prime?

2 RepliesI feel like kaliks will be the final story mission boss and not the raid. I'm going to give bungies raid designer the benefit of the doubt and say they won't add another super-sized variant of normal enemies for this raid.
-
The thing we need to think about is why help the queen. Apart from the eye to get into the black garden. She doesn't even let us go to Jupiter's moons to find Xur and force him to sell thunderlord.
-
1 ReplyPlot twist hank the shank will make an appearance in the raid and his final form is actually a dalek
-
Randall; shank master Randall: Blade in two hands Shrapnel launcher in one hand Seeker gun in the other Shank: On eye shoots normal shank stuff Other shoots vandal seeker bullets Other shoots rockets
-
I want a Giant Shank and Randall the Vandal together, how dope of a fight is that?
-
I'm sure he'll be one of them, if you peruse the grimoire you'll see.
-
2 RepliesIt better not be. Servitors are so easy to kill, this would just be a cake walk.

Every time I see a post like this is makes me sad that destiny's story is so shit. Why isn't this mentioned at all during the game? -blam!-ing bungie and Activision ruining potentially the best game ever
