Tomorrow's Hard raiders will quit destiny when HoW arrives.
Just saying, you have been working so hard to get that lvl32 gear leveled up so quickly..
Then HoW comes and Casuals will buy their way up to lvl33..
You have 3 options.. Go to the HoW raid as lvl32 characters.. Or also buy your lvl33 stuff and enter the raid same level as Casuals.
Or you burn out and quit destiny, Which one is it for you?
My point is... Dont rush up. There is no need to be at the top of the peak.. Play at your own pace and enjoy destiny for years.
Rush up, and you will burn out.

Also, Grinding is a bit less Grindey when done a little less.. Hence you can enjoy the game more.
Wife/Girlfriend/family/friends/name your activity will also be happier. Its a Win/Win situation really.

2 RepliesYou know bungie stated in a press conference they understand putting lvl 31 armor in vendors was a mistake on dark belows launch because it made the vog gear worthless.they said it was a mistake they will not make again. They go on to say that you will not have to re-upgrade all your exotics again. They listen to your complaints. They can't fix everything you all are crying and boohooing over in one day. Coding is extremely complicated.

I see this in every mmo ive played There are always the players that grind hardcore reaching the new lvl cap 1-2 weeks after its released then spend the next 6 months complaining that there is nothing to do in game The last aion update I was on during went from 60-65 and I think it was a 2 day grind for some then the complaining started

3 RepliesYou also forgot to add that the next "expansion" as we'll call it, isn't due for 6 months after HoW. They are screwed for the summer if nothing is released as most of the player base that has done pretty much all there is to do in the game will move on to other games. They may not quit completely, but they will cut back their time I think drastically.

An actual coherent story. 32 man boss fights & dungeons. No lag and amazing world!!!!! Thousands of characters in the same world. You are not alone.

5 Repliesthe "hardcore elite" do not have Wife/Girlfriend/family/friends/name an activity. the only thing that gets them through the day is knowing that they are special because they have level 32 gear and weapons and for at least a week or two someone might notice them. as they sit in their moms dark musky basement, surrounded by empty hot pocket wrappers and cans of dew they will smile when they get a random invite when they spawn into the tower asking for help :'( are you not happy mother i made something of myself.

Well I enjoy doing the hardest content. I didn't really rush either just played the raid twice a week, because it was fun, I'm 32 as result. Did not grindy at all.

3 RepliesLoL I haven't worked hard for that. Got all my gear the second week CE opened and it took me about 3 1/2 Weeks to upgrade it. I don't know why people having trouble getting to 32. It's 01/21/15 and there was enough time to get to 32. You didn't had to rush or to do the raid three times a week.

3 Replieslol "years" just how many times do you think you can honestly stomache doing these strikes. over and over.. week after week. sure youll get a few new ones next year, but they will proly be the same ones we are already doing, just in reverse.. just like the new missions we got in TDB. i really dont get the blind optimism people have in this game, its like they are oblivious to whats in front of them.

Just do what most people do. Nightfall = 15 marks. Weekly = 10 marks. AFK strikes now until you reach 100 marks a week Reach 250 marks. Complete bounties now, and save them to level up your new gear. Buy tower gear for HOW. Turn it bounties. Bam. 33 lol. After that, you don't have to do anything for 6 months, since there will be no new content.
