13 strange in 45 hours...possible?
Sounds possible to me. Granted I do have to work 8 hours today and family later still very possible.

My primary is a lvl 30 hunter and I'm always looking for new friends for strikes. I've yet to try raids (sorry) but want to, so hit me up and I'll read back thru all these comments and try to do the same.
Edit 2: after much debate I think I'll grind out my ROC tonight and see how I do. I've got enough grimoire stat bonus to get good drops in PvE most of the time and if it sucks I'll switch over to the weeklys and try to lvl up at least one of my alts then rinse and repeat.
I really like IB lately with 331 TLW but it'd be much better with the 331 thunderlord and bad juju too.
My last resort is to pawn (aka dismantle the -blam!- out of) my crappy pre-dlc knucklehead for the shard and use it to upgrade one of my two exotic guns instead.

1 ReplyI don't think you will dude. You have 1 level 30 and that's it. Or els you could do the weekly a few times for 9 coins each time. And sounds like you won't have time to level them. Good luck getting coins sorry

1 ReplyMake 3 classes get them to 30+ and you can get 27 each week from the weekly, it will take time but after you do it's easy you could even make 3 of the same class and swap gear over once they hit lvl 20

Do like 40 roc strikes. If you can average 4 per hour, that'll be 40 in 10 hours. Only go to the tower when your engrams are full and you should be good.

weekly on hard gets nine. if you do nightfall and have my luck, you will get coins there too. if not hit up the public event on all characters. raids probably won't do it, cuz they are more time consuming and you would be relying on blue engrams changing to coins. i would rock the Roc strikes if you have to. faster and you get more engrams.

Edited by The Mannikin: 1/16/2015 6:41:30 PMDon't waste ur time grinding Roc strikes, can't tell u how many times I've missed out on shit trying to grind strikes (like suros) what u [b]NEED[/b] to do is 1.)make a second alt character asap (duplicate of ur highest level), 2.) power level, as in get ur friends to boost u threw as many missions as u can(make sure u play on the highest level possible(heroic), and don't waste time fighting adds, have ur friend run through it as fast as possible, you'll get more exp from completing the mission then you will from killing adds). 3.)Play Crucible and get friends to boost u through higher level strikes when tired of missions 4.) Once u hit level 15-17 do ALL(or as many as u can, skip the bounties that require killstreaks) of the bounties for the day (eris, iron banner, and vanguard and crucible) b/c those bounties give exp. 5.) If you do at least 10-15 missions on a higher difficulty, a few strikes, and complete all the bounties for the day you should be at lvl 16-18. Then can either just play crucible, finish remaining missions, or wait until tomorrow to do more bounties. This is the quickest way I feel to rank up

Ive got my tinfoil hat on. Not sure about others but ive felt like they decrease the coin drop rate from blue engrams while xur is around.

1 ReplyEdited by wwaveydave: 1/16/2015 2:48:57 PMWeekly Heroic @ 30 = 9 (plus 3 or 4 blue engrams). Nightfall = Good chance of 9 to 11 Mars 4th Gold chest = 1 ROC Strikes = 4% drop rate. Blue Engram from ROC's good chance of coins. So 30 minutes for each of the Weekly and Nightfall, 20 minutes for the 4th Gold chest on Mars. If the Nightfall does not give you coins then the ROC strikes. If you do 12, it will take approx 3 hours. I would think you would have the coins by then. I think if you can give it 5 hours over the next 48 you'll be there.

I got 46 coins this week from nightfalls and weeklys combined.

Yes power level two other characters to 20 then switch your gear and do nightfalls in the two new ones

Get both Hunters to 30 with friend = 8*2=16h max, do weekly on them = 1/4*2= 30 min

Its possible but u might be better off leveling the other hunters and transfer gear to do heroic strike
