Sick of the "Majority" of Girls on Destiny.
Sick of this attention seeking BS that they do on video games. Claiming to "just want to play". They must think some guys are really stupid with the way they act, then the threads they make on here. GUYS ARE MEAN TO ME!!! THEY KICK ME FROM THE FIRETEAM. First off, BS. Secondly, they hit on you, not kick you. I dont speak for every situation, but the majority.... Making a clan for only females? PLEASE. Show me a clan that is for guys only. You wont see one because its rude, disrespectful to the other gender, and girls would then complain on here about that. (thus getting more attention)
Funny part about this is, my girlfriend asked me to make this thread because she said when shes on these forums a good portion of all the posts by girls are attention seeking posts.
(she is one of them hahaha, cant wait for her to see this)
My clan has several females in it, but one thing i dont tolerate from any member is complaining constantly, begging for attention, playing favorites. So its true that ive had to kick 2 females for basically using males in the clan to help them. Some males are weak to the seducing female gamer.
The same can be said about males hitting on females, ive had to kick several of them because the girls were getting annoyed and messaged me about it.
Remember this is my own opinion that no one has to respect. I only bring it up because usually gamers are judged for acting differently online than they would ingame correct? This applies to females too. Guys like to talk tough, etc etc etc. We have an anonymous factor in these online games. Same goes for girls, but instead of acting tough, you could say some sound flirty sometimes. This doesnt apply to all male or female gamers.
ANYWHO there are a lot of studies out there that will prove these opinions of mine generally correct, but again.... THIS DOES NOT MEAN ALL GIRLS OR FEMALES.

Girls always like attention the same as they like bringing up the past. For whatever reason. If she's there to play the game.. She will play the game and do her damn best job at it to prove she deserves respect, if not ladies.. Expect to be treated like a girl.. Or like a human or anyway. Don't expect anything! Just another girl so that's my opinion

Most girls who play games are pretty aware of how outnumbered they are and it makes the already self conscious among them only more so. Guys on average fall into the "stupid bitch" category more often than women do, IMO

12 RepliesAgreed. Personally i base my decisions around the age of the gender. Now, before i hear, "that is ageist!!(is this a real thing?) you can't do that!!" Let me further explain my reasoning. 1)Yes i can, and will continue to do this 2)A solid 92.4% of the younger randoms i get are annoying/raging/immature. 3)Same principle behind AARP membership, you can't join unless you are a certain age for a reason. That is really all. And i agree with the OP, as far as the forums are concerned. I have met some genuinely delightful WOMEN to play/talk with. On the other side of the coin, I have also met some whinny, useless GIRLS(or at least i assume) that have to go immediately. I find my social gaming much more enjoyable with this approach.

Gender shouldn't be a problem. What about people, in general, using other people? My friends are god awful at this game, so they depend on me to carry them through raids and strikes. Now that's not to say they aren't capable of doing it themselves. Maybe they prefer the help and rather not go in it alone. Not discounting the fact that there are people out there who intend to manipulate others to get what they want. To them I say, Good day!

6 RepliesI agree with you and disagree with you From a girls point of view I agree a good amount of girls are attention whores however I disagree when you say the majority of girls... I think the majority of girls don't even talk or own mics... These are not real stats just pulling them out of my ass but let's say 50% of girls don't use their mic and 50% do, out of the 50% that use their mics only half of them are attention whores.. So what that's like 25% of girls not the majority.. Out of every girl I have played with online only 5-6 where memorably annoying.. As to your point about all girl clans.. I think that it's just nice to play with a group of people that arnt going to harass or hit on you... I was apart of one and I made a lot of chick friends and it was nice. We didn't exclude all guys.. But any guy that say 'omg is that a girl' or ' make me a sandwich' or 'wanna meet up' 'do you have a kik' we didn't accept. Honestly it's just to make a safe zone that's all it's nice every once in a while
