Sometimes I wonder why I'm still playing this game; stuck in the "Skinner box" feedback loop I guess. I think that will change soon, and Bungie's amazing metrics from September and October will look very average at best. Why? Competition. Destiny your competition is almost here and they do what you do, better. Call of Duty: more maps, more modes, and more story (shockingly). Far Cry: Waaaay more varied PvE, actual characters who have, you know, names and motivations, and risk-taking gameplay (fighting on/with animals). Bungie your December DLC had better be LOADED with content if you expect this game to last past Q2 2015. It is no longer fun for me to run the same story missions, strikes, raid, and PvP maps that I already have 100 times before. New planet, new patrol area, or no more of my money. Players, let your dollars speak; it is the only thing Bungie and Activision will hear.

4 RepliesI don't see Far Cry 4 taking that many PVE players from destiny. It's an entirely different dynamic, some people just like repetitive grinders. I met a raid group last night where two of the guys would delete and then re-level new characters back up to 20 multiple times within a week in order to run the raid extra times. And the CoD kids were always going to jump to the next big PVP, and that includes when something better than CoD comes out, that's just how those fans are.

11 RepliesI agree that it is really repetitive, but it is still fun and I almost have to keep playing

7 RepliesSaying this game is in competition with COD is like saying solitaire and free cell are the same game because they both involve cards.

3 RepliesI'll still play, but it really depends how good next Gen GTA V is. I could care less about COD. The crew will probably take up a lot of my time IF it holds up to the hype.
