Sometimes I wonder why I'm still playing this game; stuck in the "Skinner box" feedback loop I guess. I think that will change soon, and Bungie's amazing metrics from September and October will look very average at best. Why? Competition. Destiny your competition is almost here and they do what you do, better. Call of Duty: more maps, more modes, and more story (shockingly). Far Cry: Waaaay more varied PvE, actual characters who have, you know, names and motivations, and risk-taking gameplay (fighting on/with animals). Bungie your December DLC had better be LOADED with content if you expect this game to last past Q2 2015. It is no longer fun for me to run the same story missions, strikes, raid, and PvP maps that I already have 100 times before. New planet, new patrol area, or no more of my money. Players, let your dollars speak; it is the only thing Bungie and Activision will hear.

COD:AW the next big thing (thats the same as all other COD's but you have an exoframe now)
-
True say. Still an amazing game though.

3 RepliesDon't forget Sunset Overdrive. Gameplay and amazing Cosmetic outfits that DO NOT have pain the ass light stats. And maybe even OP guns that won't be NERFed.

I'm not giving up on destiny yet but when the MCC comes out I think my copy of destiny will be collecting some dust...
-
Elute players numbers will drop but games sales are still high so the newbies will be a-grinding while COD:AW is becoming the next big thing.

Destiny has a few things that cod will never have: super powers. Yes the story sucks, but it's a shooter and that means it doesn't really matter. Cod is so boring it's basically the same game rereleased every time. How ever this time it looks a lot better and different. Still can't beat super attacks.

7 RepliesGTA V!!! As for Destiny, i think The Tower will start to be more and more emptied... PvP matchmaking will take even longer than it takes now... Intermet forums will fall silent about Destiny. Because everybody will start playing other games. It happens even now, when lot of my friends switched to Driveclub recently. I think Far Cry 4, CoD and GTAV will draw away even more people from Destiny. Unless Activision will give DLC for free to keep game alive.

Agreed

You forgot Dragon Age: Inquisition and the new WoW expansion.

2 RepliesI agree with this. Although, I'm into different games. I hate to say it, but I've grown bored with this game. It's the same thing over and over and over and over again. I've played this game pretty much every day since it came out. But as I look into the next month or so, there's not really much to look forward, besides when the DLC comes out. I just wish there was more to do. I've just grown bored with it right now. From what I see the Destiny faithful are demanding more! Is Bungie going to be able to keep up with the demand?

1 ReplyBleh. Call of duty.

12 RepliesEh, I already bought Destiny's DGE, and thus, the DLC to come, atleast the first batch... I'll be paying it when it comes out, solely because I bought it, so why not. However, I've been done with this game for a bit now. There are far better MMO/RPG experiences out there, and the shoot/loot aspects can be satisfied with Borderlands or... any other shooter really, atleast for the shooting half. Most of which offer a more stable PvP field to compete in. This game doesn't offer anything amazing, I was hoping it'd be varied and awesome, but it's just not, the story is incoherent jumbled mess, not really into anything offered by Destiny anymore, and skeptical Bungie can pull the game out from the hole it's sinking in. All that aside, I've moved to FF14, it's a subscription based MMO, something I haven't considered since Star Wars Galaxies, but you know what? It's damned nice, has a great and immersive story, for an MMO, and is just, everything I'd want in an RPG/MMO experience.... I miss shooting things, from time to time, but, there's better games for that, and I'll grab them eventually to sate that craving.
