Destiny playerbase to drop sharply in the next month
Sometimes I wonder why I'm still playing this game; stuck in the "Skinner box" feedback loop I guess. I think that will change soon, and Bungie's amazing metrics from September and October will look very average at best. Why? Competition. Destiny your competition is almost here and they do what you do, better. Call of Duty: more maps, more modes, and more story (shockingly). Far Cry: Waaaay more varied PvE, actual characters who have, you know, names and motivations, and risk-taking gameplay (fighting on/with animals). Bungie your December DLC had better be LOADED with content if you expect this game to last past Q2 2015. It is no longer fun for me to run the same story missions, strikes, raid, and PvP maps that I already have 100 times before. New planet, new patrol area, or no more of my money. Players, let your dollars speak; it is the only thing Bungie and Activision will hear.

Hi Whomever marketed this game sucks. Destiny came out at a perfect null in the game world and they shit all over their chance to get somewhere with it, now destiny is merely mediocre. The market was prime for another sci-fy fantasy extraordinaire considering Mass effect was off the horizon. If the marketing department didn't notice this why are they getting paid?, probably for their genius idea of adding DLC because this isn't even a game. Oh well maybe the lesson to learn here is to make a series of games: it needs to start off from a solid base; sure make the sequels shells and pump them full of DLC, but to make the first game on sand and expect to make a vex tower out of it,pfffff, even those wacky robots know how to make structures that stand. cheers

I see this becoming a niche title with a small group of dedicated players. Most will move on to other better games, sooner rather than later imo.

Maybe we should all go on a destiny strike, like strike as in workers in a company go on strike if they want something. Every player of destiny stop playing for 2 - 3 days maybe even a week an see if bungie will make things better for us

Any game that can take 40 hours of my time is a good game that doesn't lack content. I don't think there's much to say about my 350 in Destiny.

16 RepliesUsually people who complain are those who are playing alone and have not experienced Destiny as it was designed to be played. Therefore I yawn at these criticism towards the game and have yet to see a valid reason not to play the game.

They will lose all but the regular players, but I have a feeling people will keep trickling back and it will always spike at every new expansion
